Lomachenko vs M.Garcia?? Sept/2019

Too much politics. Arum is too political and it has cost him far too much in lost revenue from potential fights wasted on the "build up".
Lets not forget the fiasco that orbited around getting anyone of those guys from Oxnard to fight Gamboa back in the day. That was all in house fights Arum waited to make like Juanma vs Gamboa when they were undefeated. (Salido the upset king spoiled that PPV fight.)

 

Because he was against a guy who was a better boxer, hence why he couldn’t do anything. Just wait and see what happens to him against an even better boxer in Lomachenko if he finds his sack.

 

Arum wants to make the fight next, he wants to offer Mikey a lot of money so he can see Lomachenko beat the **** out of him. The only obstacle to this fight ever getting made was/will be Mikey Garcia.

 

Well he goes down BIG imo if that's his last fight, pure cash out. If he stays Loma retires him properly by TKO and a farewell speech will follow

 

Don't think Garcia will return to 135. I expect him to be a 140 fighter from here on out.

 

That's a good comparison with the Chavez fight,both these fights were hard to believe in,almost as if they only did it for the pay cheque?

 

Loma`s a far smarter fighter than Garcia.

 

Loma has said if Garcia will not cut weight to fight him then he will look towards Cambell.

 

I think Loma would this fight if it were to happen at 135 in September. Garcia going up to 147 and getting hammered by hard shots and then cutting back down to 135... Not good, Loma would definitely be the fresher fighter and feel comfortable in the ring.

It's a shame this fight was not made earlier, it would have been a great fight and a real pick 'em 50/50 kind of event.

I do think Garcia will fight again, probably around the 140 mark or a couple pounds under, but he probably will take a long lay off before coming back.

Loma, with or without Garcia, should really just push for whatever big fights and challenges he get, anything to push his legacy higher. Whether it is those big fights at 130 that he missed or Teo, Tank etc. he should just do whatever it takes to shut up the questions being asked of him. His career is far from done or reached the mountain top.

It's so funny how so many people were like " I really respect Mikey for taking the fight" and I was one of them.

Mikey should be embarrassed. Selling out for a check. Him throwing up his hand after every round gave it away. I feel bad for his all fans especially the people who were actually dumb enough to bet on him.

Loma doesn't need Mikey.

 

well, yeah. to you loma needs nobody, everything you see is through loma colored lenses. youre team loma, some of us are team boxing.

 

LOMA definitely needs high profile fighters, never said he didn't. But to me, Mikey's stock fell significantly after that awful performance of his.
And btw, if you're team boxing, you're team Loma too
