Just "Scene" that BOBby Arum is once again talking about the possibility of putting his NKTOB Lomachenko in the ring with his EX favorite fighter Manny Pacquiao in 2017, ASSuming everything goes as planned Vs. Walters on Sat. (That iz) Say's that both Roach & Arum have had discussions of doing the "Pass the torch" match @135lbs.... Any thoughts on this? Or is The Bob father just pumping up his new guy by using Manny's name. (Don't shoot the messenger) Loma has been quoted as saying he would love the opportunity to fight Manny but not NEXT. (Meaning 1 or 2 fights after Sat.)

No way can Pac make 135 anymore. Non starter.

Prime Pac v Loma at 130 is an unbelievable fantasy fight.

It would have to be at 140 lb, Pacquaio is not going back down to 135 lb

If Pac drains himself to make 135, Lomachenko will be able to use him to launch himself as a mega star like Pac used De La Hoya.

    I think 140, maybe 139, 138 is much fairer.

Of course IF Floyd calls him (Arum/Pac) up for a rematch... "Fuggin' Fugetaboutdit" they will be taking that ish instead... lol

That's Arums ultimate perfect world scenario & trump card he will play eventually.

If he doesn't though, Lomachenko at 140- or as near as he can get him to it- maybe more appealing than Crawford at 140 (or above). While I'm not sure who is the better fighter of the two, I feel Lomachenko has more of a 'superstar aura' about him than Crawford, and Arum might push for that.

Furthermore, he probably thinks Loma will have less to lose and more to gain coming up in weight and challenging Pacquiao. if Pac was to beat Crawford, then he's just left with Pac retiring soon after and Crawford facing the top rank employee of the month.

(IMO) Once Arum decides to pull the plug on the Manny project that the Bobfather will 100% feed Pac to either TC or the guy Arum calls a "Young Muhammad Ali" Lomachenko. Crawford/Lomachenko is more realistic tho.

I feel it is disrespectful to Walters for Bob to bring up this matchup:
    1. Walters is an elite fighter who has the ability to put a halt to this potential Loma-Pac.
    2. Walters is Bob's fighter and Bob is overlooking him.

Ahh well, LomachenkoIsTBE and it seems Bob knows it.

Nice username. I don't think those weights are fair given Lomachenko is a smaller sized 130lber who only moved up to 130lbs because he was being ducked by everyone.

Pacquiao hasn't been down to 140 or lower in 8 years.....same as De La Hoya.....where Pac jumped up two weights to fight (who was considered a small 135lber and only fought there once I believe).,,,,plus Pac is older now than De La Hoya was then, and probably more distracted.

Pac eats super sized meals to make 147. If he had a regular diet, he'd make 140. If he cut weight like ALL OTHER BOXERS DO, even older than Pac, he'd make 135.

People forget that Pac isn't a welterweight. He's a former Lineal Flyweight champion.
Either way, Lomachenko whoops Pacquiao's ass. Lomachenko IS THE BEST EVER.

Pac would get eaten alive at 135 LOL

I still think he loses to Loma at 140 as well .
