Beltran is fighting for the WBO LW title in February and both Loma and Beltran are Top Rank fighters so this might make sense for Loma's first fight at 135 to become a 3 weight world champ. Loma has always fought for the WBO title so far in his career. I think Bobfather will make this happen in 2018.

Beltran has a style kind of similar to Salido.

    Who wins?

Loma east this fight is waste to me, I would love to see Loma vs Linares. Golden boy says it's a doable fight. Let's make that happen.

Unfortunately I think it's not a doable fight due to politics of the sport.

    Beltran wouldn't win a round.

I would say he's going to join the long list of quitters, but he'll go out on his shield via brutal Rocky Martinez like KO.

As a fan of both fighters, Loma is just too much for Ray. Ray doesn't quit on his stool though!

Crawford went life and death with Beltran, so when Loma makes Beltran do an RTD, it should definitely make Crawford even more shook about Loma than he is already. And that's pretty shook.

Good opponent for Lomachenko. Beltran is a good top 10 veteran who is on a nice run himself.

Lomachenko would beat Beltran by wide decision but he’d put up a good fight and probably doesn’t quit like others have been.

Beltran doesn’t fight for the WBO title until mid-February so the soonest he’d be able to meet Lomachenko would be May. That would mean Lomachenko would looking at a 5-6 month wait between fights.

Hopefully Lomachenko fights before then. A final fight at 130 with Berchelt would be great way to finish up 130 pound run.

Beltrans got more juice in him than a Whole Foods. Pretty sure you can find him on sale this week right in between the organic brand and Cletus Seldin

    For Chenko:

    At 130

    Brechelt*

    At 135

    Linares*
    Garcia
    Easter
    Flanagan

    All good.

(*Promoted by De La Arum, not going to happen.)

On second thought, Beltran wouldn't be terrible though. I think all fighters moving up should be able to take a tune-up (unlike Rigo).

    Beltran
    Comney
    Bogere
or Even Lundy would be cool at 135.

That could be lomas 'castillo' moment, where he finally faces a dude who's physically a lot bigger than himself, and could box and punch. It would be interesting to see how hed do against Beltran.

Beltran is a huge 135 pound fighter he's tough as nails and wont be stopped by Loma. I think he might do better than anyone since Gary Russell Jr. but he will end up with an L.

When did that happen? Beltran barely won a round against Crawford.
