According to boxing scene, it did 1.5 on Nielsen's ratings, which i guess is around 1.5 million i believe, great numbers if that's the case.

That isn't a great number. I didn't expect it to match the Pac-Horn 4.4 million, but Loma on ESPN should be getting closer to that than to his 1 million or so HBO numbers.

It was on after the Heisman Trophy Award. Bob Arum was so happy. He was like, "On HBO, the lead in to the fight is Little House on the Prairie or some sh!t like that."

Oh, are you sure 1.5 equals 1.5 million? Pac-Horn's 4.4 million was a 1.8 rating.

Would've done at least double that if Teddy was working last night.

I'm not exactly sure how the Nielsen ratings work, the numbers should be announced tomorrow.

I also see the low point of Pac-Horn was 1.6, which was 2.8 million. Which probably suggests Loma cracked 2 million. That becomes pretty respectable!

I think it's not bad at all with the amount (should I say the absence of?) promotion for the fight.

Not bad numbers for what it was. To put it in perspective though, 2 million people watched on free cable in a country that has 312 million population. May-Mac got 4 million people to pay $100 each, and that doesn't even factor in probably double that watching on hacked streams.

It was a fight at a low weight class. Come on.
