The best possible win in boxing today. They're ATG wins.
    Mayweather takes a back seat.

Pac and Maidana already beat Floyd.

And also, Triple G and Kovalev are bigger wins than Rigo, I think. Rigo's biggest win is Donaire.

Great wins for either guy. Ironic, considering there's a whopping 20-ish fights between the two.

    And Rigo? You're very pro-Europe.

If Lomachenko wins, he's P4P no.1. Tell me WHO is more impressive?

Rigondeaux is an ATG (in terms of H2H ability) so much so that we only say he'd lose to Wilfredo Gomez and maybe Jeff Fenech..in fact, Rigo's on Mayweather's tier, so he's one of the GOAT defensive fighters in history.

    W Rigondeaux
    W Rodriguez
    W Piriyapinyo
W Russell Jr (current LINEAL Featherweight Champ)
L Salido (farce fight, good experience)
    W Ramirez

    - Every single name carries more clout when you're perfoming the way Lomachenko did, and due to the fact that they are the first few pro fights.

What does Mayweather do? He basically draws against Maidana, goes through hell and back against Maidana to win the second competitive fight, and beats a washed up mentally dead Pacquiao (in a fight where people can and do have the opinion that Pacquiao won 7-5) and we all know that's the honest truth

Nah dude, he wouldn't be p4p #1, you're overreacting here, it takes more than one win to get p4p #1 ranking and Rigo himself is about 4-7# P4P so a win over him wouldn't take him that far.

    Agreed.

It would still be a helluva win for either guy. Huge. And would stamp the winner a bonafide contender for the p4p tops spot.

I'm going to take a step back and wait for this to be announced. For all we know, this may fall through. It would be a tragedy if Quigg was up for fighting Rigo, and Rigo chooses a Quigg showdown instead.

    Until then, later dudes.

As good as both guys are on the eye test, and at the amateur level, they just don't have the records to do that much for either. Rigo has Donaire and Loma has Russell Jr. That's it. And size wise it's a bit of a mismatch like Gamboa vs Crawford.

Castillo, Ortiz and Gatti are the only one to beat Mayweather.

    Castillo 117-11
    Gatti DQ 1
    Ortiz DQ 4:thumbsup

I hear that Lomachenko wants Rigondeaux to take a blood test.
