Lomachenko vs Russell jr. purse bid on April 18th

    GRJ is the amateur, fainted like a ***** so couldn't compete in the Olympics, now years later he still hasn't fought a contender. Lomachenko has been winning International tournaments and the WSB, fought a ranked contender then put the pain on a welterweight Salido and fell on the wrong side of the decision in that same time period.
    GRJ isn't just an amateur, he's a bum because he's been fighting bums. And against those bums he has a ~50% KO ratio. He's not going to step up against elite competition and all of a sudden be able to punch and deal with the different level. GRJ and his team knows this, which is why I'll be very surprised if GRJ doesn't run to the hills (again).

    Russell Jr. will wait for the purse bid, then claim it is not enough money.

    He will move on and fight TBA in their 13th rematch while Lomachenko will fight for the vacant WBO title against the weakest WBO top 10 ranked contender.

    GRJ is allowed to pull out of the fight, which is what he'll most likely do.

    I agree with the first part, but I don't think Lomachenko or Arum are going to aim for the weakest top 10 contender, that's clearly not their MO. Personally I think GRJ shouldn't be ranked in any top 10 list so it'd be a step up from GRJ either way.

    Well if that's the case, then TBA very well could be a step up over the novice 1-1 Lomachenko.

    Just sayin'.

    TBA who lost a split decision to Salido (who decided not to make weight and foul constantly) for the title? :lol: Good luck finding that TBA dumbass :patsch
    Lomachenko has proven himself, with his attitude and how he dealt with Salido. YDKSAB.

    Lomachenko lost a split decision to maybe the best in the division. Gary Russell has fought 20 nobodies.

    Loma deserves another shot at the title before Russell deserves his first shot at it.

    More pure ******ation from this guy. Salido is a proven ****ing champion in the division AND came in over the weight limit. And even with all that, Lomachenko still put on a respectable performance and had Salido hurting at the end of the fight.

    TBA is most assuredly not a step up, stop with your blatant agenda.

    The time is finally here!

    Now we will get to finally see GRJ step into the big time by first seperating the Pros from the amateurs.
    After he makes quick work of Loma and gains the title we;ll have another undefeated champion and another 1-2 super semi-pro amateur to cheer.

    Answer me, how is GRJ any more 'pro' than Lomachenko is? Lomachenko has fought the better pro opposition by far. GRJ is stepping up a long way if he fights Lomachenko, Lomachenko is stepping down after fighting Salido.

    I do like GRJ' style and would like to see him do well, I hope he doesn't take as bad a loss against Lomachenko as I think he will. It would be good to have another contender around the weight.

    The reason for putting your fighter in with fighters of ascending talent is to get them adjusted to facing and countering many styles of fighting. The fights Russell has been in has helped him to see these styles and make the required adjustments in his style to beat them.
    In his Pro career, Loma has only seen two styles. One he won against, and the 2nd he lost against. His lost shows that Loma lacked the necessary experience to adjust to Saildo's style and his inexperience gave him his first loss.

    Russell is too fast for Loma, and his fast combination punching and accurate timing will catch Loma's face repeatedly in this match. If slow handed Saildo was able to hit Loma, then GRJ won't have any trouble at all.
