Shane is too big, just as fast and from a superior era with more power than anybody Loma has faced. Hell, prime Sugar Shane had more power than anybody on Loma's resume has faced. The sum of Shane's advantages are greater than the sum of Lomachenko's.
Not a level up, no. However, at 135, too much to overcome for Loma. At 126, Loma would probably beat him as Mosley would be too frail.
Like others said, Mosley simply has too much of a physical stat advantage along with his pedigree. I don't see Loma winning but it's isn't out of the repm of possibility i guess
Nobody beats a young Shane at 135lbs. Nobody, he was a monster. The later Shane at the higher weights was a shadow compared to early Sugar.
Why is everyone neglecting the fact that Mosley's best win at 135 was against Phillip Holiday, someone who gave him a lot trouble and was arguably a decent, but forgettable champion. Past prime has-beens John John Molina and Leija aren't exactly amazing wins are they? Y'all should stop dick riding Mosley as if he is some mythical beast at lightweight. Lomachenko would beat his ass easily at 135 pounds, because almost every time when Shane fought someone decent he lost.
Yes his opposition wasn't amazing at 135 but regarding eye test Mosley looked amazing at 135 with his combination of speed and power. I find your comment about Mosley stepping up everytime that he lost a bit puzzling ? Because hasn't everytime Lomachenko stepped up at 135 atleast, lost to his two best opponents in Haney ? Lopez ? And it's not like Lomachenko's best wins at 135 are anything amazing either. Overall Mosley would be too much for the light hitting Lomachenko at 135.
