Mosley is too big for Loma. They were always a few divisions apart. And with Shane's power, it's a great deterrent for Loma.
You're right to an extent and as Merchant said "Shane Mosley, I love you!". He's one of my favorite fighters but he was a tad bit overrated. People are saying he's the best LW ever and that is simply not true. As for the Loma fight, where I think you're wrong is Mosley was a WW who boiled down to LW. Loma is a FW (maybe SFW) who is fighting at LW. These two are weight classes apart and I think Mosley would eventually clip Loma at some point. His handspeed at LW was no joke and neither was his power.
No way anyone can count out Mosley at 135. Dude was a beast! Would have to favor him some, due to his speed and power.
Shane Mosley at LW was 32-0 (30 KOs) before he moved up. I think he would have been too fast and strong for Loma.
You guys saying no one beats Mosley at LW.......you're joking, right? I would agree no one around today could touch Mosley at LW, but historically, LW is one of the deepest divisions ever. You guys gotta watch those great old fighters, man!
