Lomachenko vs Walters set for november 26

It should be called 'The Light Welterweight (Walters) vs The Featherweight (Loma)' because Walters' frame is huge.

 

This is a good fight. For now I'm ok with Loma not rematching Salido, but Loma still has to face Salido at some point before Salido retires.

 

Loma is the baddest mofo in boxing

 

Must have been forced on Bob by HBO. They aren't ****ing around anymore. Fighters have to fight the best guys in their divisions in major fights or they don't get airtime. When I checked this years fights the only guy who got a headline that wasn't a star was Salido and he was matched with Vargas and had a FOTY type fight, with both of them coming off previous FOTY type fights. Prospects and contenders are going to have to go to Showtime or PBC. HBO isn't having any of it. Of course, this means that all the talent is going to flee to England and SKY or Box Nation or whatever, unless PBC isn't really dead like some people claim.

 

This is great. Can't wait for this one!

 

Finally a competetive fight between 2 world class fighters in between the string of mismatches we've been recently given

Loma by decision but a Walters win wouldnt shock me

 

The end of this year is shaping up nicely. Cannot wait!!

 

good thing lomachenko isnt like danny garcia or he would have been looking to fight Maxi Hughes

 

Lomachenko will beat Walters by UD or TKO, perhaps even a knockout!!! He is that good..................

this fight while some will see it now as competitive will be a complete mismatch

walters skills are basic ,he has good fundementals but is quiet basic

he's defense is a tight guard and trying to control distance with reach. Lomachenko will control the distance he always does, a high tight guard is completely ineffective against lomachenko too, he will punch him as will

walters offense is to a large degree set up off he's jab , which is quiet effective as he usually has a large reach advantage. No one has ever been able to have any success with the jab against lomachenko at all

after 2-3 rounds this will literally be a complete beat down,a dn id say walters corner will throw in the towel because he will be outclassed so badly

But HBO only had like 15 fights this year. 6 of them were lopsided fights like:

Golovkin vs Wade (I get it IBF mando)
Canelo vs Khan
Kovalev vs Pascal 2 (HBO blew money on this fiasco)
Pacquiao vs Bradley 3
Ward vs Brand ???
Golovkin vs Brook (Sky paid for this and HBO damn sure broadcast it)
Canelo vs Smith

As much **** as you guys give Haymon the so called BROKE boxing channel blew loads of money on Canelo's bum fest 2016.

russell landed 18 out of 425 jabs
martinez 10 out of 150 jabs
ramirez 5 out of 78 jabs

the bottom line is , your not really going to hit lomachenko with a jab
