Walters is not as good as those 3 nor is he as highly ranked.

It's a good fight but there's better men in the division.

Game plan for loma - being lomachenko

Game plan for Walters - have no game plan make the fight messy

I'm no expect but I'd advise Walters to punch Loma in the head and body as hard as he can. That's the key to winning this fight IMHO.

Ya but tactically he is screwed he needs to go for broke

Walters main offensive weapon and what he sets up most of he's offense off of is the jab. He usually has a longer reach, i posted earlier that lomachenko basically makes your jab a joke and completely ineffective so walters will find it hard to be successful on offense

On defence walters has a basic defense, high guard and relies on distance management to limit opponents offense. Loamchenko is a distance master and he's footwork will ruin walters. He's punch variety and selection will make walters defense look like no defense at all

Walters is a big strong guy who has looked good beating up smaller men who couldn't deal with he's reach and strength, so that's why he's only chance is to go for broke and attempt to turn the fight as messy as possible

His power isn´t even that impressive. Look at the shots that he got his biggest KO´s. Those were sneaky punches.
Walters will push Lomachenko and get T/KO´d in a fun affair.

I think it's just as plausible that Lomachenko and/or Arum made a fairer offer to Walters after the ratings debacle that was the Martinez fight undermined any leverage they may have had. It's hard to justify being given HBO main events regardless of opponent or receiving A-side purse splits when you're doing Rigondeaux ratings.

Thank you #boxing - sometimes you do good.

I'll take Loma in this one. Walters is good, I think you'd br crazy not to rate him but I just think Loma is that much better.

Walters was quite possibly just sitting on the shelf. He might have had to accept the same offer as what was presented to him before.

But that applies equally to Lomachenko, who very easily could have been in a situation where he wouldn't have been brought back to HBO without a name opponent.

So far we have had no issues with Lomachenko picking his opposition. He fought Ramirez, even though he wanted a title shot. And after picking up a title, he fought Piriyapinyo, Rodriguez and Koasicha. As long as he gets to fight someone, he will do it.
Walters was the one complaining about money.

Really good fight. I just read the news tonight, it's true, it will be on HBO. It's time we get some really good fights. Lomachenko by UD, TKO or KO, but it's not a given, no sparring session, good fight for a change. I am so tired of the house fighter, undefeated fighting a wino from the alley. So tired of seeing Wilder fight winos, Joshua not fighting anyone who can punch back and Fury with his head games.............

Walters is big and tough and has some skill and can punch. That said, I expect Lomachencko to beat the crap out of him.

And that ain't because I think Walters is bad, I just think Loma is good.

My question is will there be a noticeable size difference when they fight?

I suspect not much of one, but...

Walters is good at slipping punches on the inside, too.
