Once again he proves himself levels about mere world-level opponents. This guy is as elite as elite gets. It's going to take somebody very special to make it interesting. He obviously hadn't given it much thought, given how long it took him to come up with an answer, but he eventually said Vargas. Think this would be a good fight, if a little pointless. There's one or two good fights and a couple of decent ones at the next weight class; Flanagan, Linares, Gamboa, Barthelemy. Above that, you get into the land of fighting the 140s; Crawford (can't see it), Postal, Matthysse possibly even Manny Pacquaio? What sort of progression in his next few opponents would you like to see?
Out of them? Gamboa. He'd match him for speed, and at least make a few rounds interesting. Besides, the Russian vs Cuban amateur rivalry & different skillets would be amazing to see.
