Lmao... yeah Loma totally ducked Berchelt... sure.... As for Mikey and Loma, that situation would never have gotten done because of Bob. Anymore Mexicans you want to claim Loma ducked?

Berchelt is the top dog at SFW, and Lomachenko fought and picked up a title at SFW.

I don't know about you, but as a boxing fan I want to see the best fight the best, and Loma did not fight the best at SFW.

Perhaps it had something to do with Beechelt being a younger, better version of Salido,... WHo knows? But it was rather odd he didn't fight him despite Berchelt calling him out.

Don't get me wrong, Berchelt is a beast, but I doubt it's Loma's fault that fight didn't happen. Also Berchelt is absolulely nothing like Salido, idk where you get that comparison from.

Its never the boxers fault eh?

The should have happened. Berchelt was the man, Loma was a titlist, and he left the division without facing the man, despite the man calling him out. As a fan I don't give two f**** if it was Loma's fault or not. It was a fight that needed to happen, just like the Mikey fight needed to happen. I actually stopped being a Mikey fan completely after him leaving 135 without making the Loma fight happen.

As far as the Berchelt/Salido comparison, there is a lot to compare.

Tough, rugged, relentless pressure fighters, who will take two to deliver one.

Main differences are that Berchelt actually has decent defense, and is younger and fresher than the version of Salido Lomachenko fought.

i think lomas dad is too careful with lomas career. loma has said some suspect stuff before, but i think its his dad that doesnt want to make any wrong move, at the wrong time, with lomas career. i dont blame him, if your dad doesnt protect your interests, who will? personally, i think the strategy is going to limit lomas career, but im not the one taking the punches from bigger guys.

I have strong reasons to believe that Loma didn't duck Berchelt. Two of Loma's main targets, Mikey Garcia and Tank Davis, are the same if not more dangerous. It has been two years since Loma left the competition of 130 and not even once Berchelt seriously consider to fight another champion. He went to Ito and Herring fight and would like to fight the winner next, later nothing happen.

After he fought Salido and Russell Jr., there were better guys to fight at 126 than, Koasicha, Tatakhun, and Rodriguez. I was going to talk about the current time frame as well, but Lomachenko has come out and said that he wants Haney, and Davis, so I will wait and see if he is true to his word.
