And the fact that Marquez could never come away with the win really generated a lot of sour grapes.

The fact is Marquez never won the decisions. And in order to change the narrative they just repeat over and over that Marquez won. So much so that these guys have brainwashed their own minds. We are at the point now that these guys believe to their core that Marquez won fights that he literally lost. They actually try and deny history. Its scary we are lucky these guys only care so much about something as trivial as boxing. These are the types of people who deny history and start coming up with revisionist facts and just spread ignorance. This is how we get guys who deny real life serious stuff.

 

Does this apply to Bradly, Mayweather and Horn?

 

No not really because it's not the mass of people doing it. A lot of people will just say that Pac was robbed against those guys. Only a few actually get into it.

On this site we have large amounts of people actually believe that Marquez kept beating Pacquiao. They dont even come with a qualifier or imply that Marquez should have gotten the nod. Its just Marquez won, but he actually didnt.

And those fights were prime for prime with a higher stakes legacy wise. And they were close. So they generate a lot of discussion and lunacy.

 

I think there is a matter of levels to contend with before we analyze technical ability. Loma is gifted and more "complete" than Pacquiao, but the moment-to-moment timing and IQ against an ATG can only be tested against similar fighters.

I think one of his easiest is a stretch, though. I don't think Pac likes a Southpaw jab.

 

I don’t think Loma wants to fight Pac. He says he wouldn’t get any credit for beating an old man but I think he’s just using that as an excuse.

 

Manny is not a top 10 P4P fighter anymore, he should fight Horn and stop him before he goes near Loma.

I don`t think Manny`s that important in boxing anymore and certainly wont be in a year or two.

Today it's a great fight...prime Manny, lol...he wrecks this kid. The difference is prime Manny won't stop, he's coming and coming hard, he isn't going to stand and have a conventional boxing match. He's going to make Loma really fight, and really fight all 12 rounds, Loma may be up to the task but I doubt it.

 

He should simply fight the best fighter at lightweight or super feather next and then the highest rated after that and on and on, what`s the point in fighting Manny,? He`s way down the list even being a welter.
