Rigondeaux to end the debate once and for all who's the better of the two amateur stars. Plus it would be a GREAT KO win on Lomas resume before moving to 135. I would have voted Salido because it would be great for Loma to avenge that loss... but I think Salido wants to just take his money and run instead. He's seen Lomas last 3 fights and how he's improved.
Salido. That rematch needs to happen then Corrales or Berchelt. If he wins all this he should move up to lightweight in 2018
First off, I want to see Loma put Salido away whilst Salido still has something left in the tank. I would love to see Loma hold world titles at 126, 130 and 135 simultaneously. If Loma fancies it, catchweight (nor no catchweight) with a very weak belt holder at 140 to hold titles in four weight classes (staying totally clear of Crawford). I like Loma's chances against someone Ricky Burns level. He can very easily cut to make 126 again given he walks around at 140 - don't forget he's only fighting at 130 because he couldn't get anyone at 126. Rigo is too busy demanding a 124 catchweight, getting knocked down by journeymen and fighting C graders.
Salido. It would be a gorious one sided beat down that I would enjoy immensely. I wish their first fight was a 15 round affair, Salido was on his way to getting knocked out.
Salido got the gift of his life the first fight. Skipped making weight, threw tons of low blows and avoided getting stopped late. Loma KO 10 in the rematch
Salido II obviously and then the title holders who are off hot wins in Corrales or Berchelt. The whole top 10 is solid with intrigue. Big action fighters. Those above three guys plus I'd like any of Miura, Uchiyama, Vargas, and Davis. I highly, highly doubt Davis or Uchiyama happens. And, Vargas too, really. The other top 10 guys not listed above are previous opponents Roman and Sosa. So the one I'll pick here that could work with scheduling (I think) and having just been on HBO plus avoiding the Salido can of worms, is Mr. Berchelt.
