Yeah by the time Usyk is fighting at that level you'd expect the Klits to be gone... it's a shame though, you always want to see the successor take the crown rather than to get handed it.
Wlad is too smart to lose so late in his career though and would rather hand the reign over to another Ukrainian than to lose to him.... if he loses to him then comes the questions if could of beaten him if he was younger and so on!!! but i defo have high expectations of Usyk and Lom, i would also love Butsenko and Mytrofanov to turn pro as well as i enjoy watching them both fight!!!
That was a great performance. Very impressed. What do you lot reckon to Denys Berinchyk? Very fit and strong. High work rate and loads of heart. Never takes a backward step. Very exciting fighter. Anyone know if he is planning to turn pro?
not too sure what berynchik is planning on doing after wsb season is over, i enjoy his fights as he is very exciting and his fights are always fun to watch but im not too sure how far he can go tbf!!!! he is a lot better than his last weeks performance though, im not sure what he was doing last week, usually he has a lot more head movement and doesnt take as many punches but last week he somehow forgot about his head movement and just went all out in the 1st three rounds lol and was tired in the last 2!! so he needs to work on his tactics a bit and not get tired out before the 4th and 5th!!!
Berinchyk is very exciting to watch.. I think someone said he was planning on turning pro after WSB. It'll be interesting to see how he adapts to the greater number of rounds, his style and approach is obviously highly fatiguing; I can't see him doing that for 12 rounds. When he is less aggressive and actually tries to box he is very good though, I think he just wants the 'kill' a bit too much at times. If he finds the perfect balance/tempo he'll certainly be one to watch :good
i think khytrov will be going to olympics in Rio as he believes he was robbed of that gold medal in London lol!!!
I hope not, he has that Beterbiev-sort of devastating power.. would make a lot of noise and highlights as a pro.
Lomachenko has the ability to counter while coming forward which is excellent and very difficult but i wouldn't define that as his style. He has no problem leading while pressuring and can fight off the back foot extremely well too. Well Berinchyk is dating Lomachenko's sister so perhaps he'll be more likely to turn pro and take a similar career path with Vasyl and Anatoliy because of it? I think he intends to anyway. He is a pretty good boxer but he hasn't really showed it since the 2011 Worlds, if he paces himself a little more and improves his stamina i think he'll do very good as a pro but his stamina will the biggest stuggle imo. I read an interview with Khytrov where he said he wasn't in WSB because it's too difficult for him to make the weight 161lbs. I don't really believe that though because the weigh-ins are 30 hours before like the pros so losing an extra 4lbs should be easy enough given the extra time compared to weighing 165lbs in the amateurs and having to weigh-in the same day as the fight and maintain that weight for over a week if you're in a tournament.
