Lol. Sure kid. You definitely seem to have the confidence and the tendencies to identify the fans from the “Lomasexuals”. You should wear that like a rainbow badge of honor. Lol...Just giving you a hard time. Don’t take it to heart Chief. This is next level sh*t for you I can tell with how serious you take this stuff.

You are insinuating Loma and Bob are avoiding Miguel.....Correct me if I’m wrong? I think that is silly for a number of reasons which I touched on in my previous posts.

A month ago, after the Rigo fight...Loma and his team said they were planning to stay at 130 to unify...but none of the champions at 130 stepped up. So 135 was really the only logical move....no one at 126 was going to step up if no one at 130 did.

I agree.....I would have loved to see the champions line up to challenge Loma and prove or disprove the hype, but the fight with Loma really is not all that attractive for title holders. Obviously....if it was, they’d be calling Loma out like he was Floyd Mayweather. Lol

Salido didn’t whoop Loma’s ass. There’s a strong argument that he etched out a decision in a fight that saw win many of the early rounds....but he never hurt Loma or was close to stopping him. Loma on the other hand dominated the championship rounds and had Salido hurt and almost stopped him in the final round.

I don’t think Miguel is afraid of Loma. I just don’t think the proposition is enticing enough for him to sincerely push for the fight. I think he’s aware like most people who have seen Loma in action are....that he’s a special fighter, very hard to beat and Berchelt has a title and a very good ring record with only 1 loss.

I honestly believe Loma doesn’t fit into his plans because of the risk of losing his title without an enticing payday. There are easier, less risky opponents that would pay him a little less but most likely he wins allowing him to keep his belt and work towards unifying.

I’m not justifying Loma not fighting Berchelt Chief. Lol....I’m just providing insights you aren’t catching. I’d rather Loma stay at 130 and his next 3 fights in 2018 be Berchelt, Machado and Ogawa. Unifying would be a great feather in his cap. He wouldn’t get full appreciation from a lot of critics since everyone seems to believe Loma is cherry picking weak opposition who he should beat....but Crawford got hit with the same kind of criticism. At the end of the day unifying, becoming a lineal champion is history and no one could take that away from him.

It’s just not realistic because of my previous points. It’s a two way street....the other champions have to be willing to step up. When Bud was at 135, it was difficult for him to unify because the other title holders wouldn’t step up, so Bud moved up to 140.

Rigo wanted to unify at 122....but none of the other champions wanted to put up their titles against the Cuban so he started calling out champions at 126 and eventually 130 where him and Loma finally squared off. Loma is in a similar situation where 135 is offering him options with fighters who are willing to put up their titles and challenge him. He’s gotta eat....he can’t be like Rigo and remain ideal and inactive waiting and hoping one of the champions change their minds.

I’m not defending Loma kid. Lol. I’m offering you a more accurate picture of the current state and why Guys like Bud, Rigo and Loma have a difficult time staying in one weight class. It’s actually very straightforward and a simple concept to grasp. I’m surprised you’re struggling to see it. These are all special fighters that pose major risks but don’t necessarily have the stock or clout to draw other big names or champions in their divisions to want to engage with them.

Linares doesn’t really have a chance in my opinion either....but in all honesty, neither does Berchelt, Machado, Davis, Ogawa or Easter. The real test for Loma is Garcia.....but Mikey seems like he’s got Linares lined up after Lipinets so Loma will need to tussle with Ray which is a decent fight.

I know, and I totally agree, but it is disappointing to see nonetheless. obviously none of us really know what goes on behind the scenes, but I'd like to think Berchelt would've taken it, he seems like the type who would. I just feel like it may be something that holds Loma back when he's retired and its time to judge where his place in boxing history is

Why was Crawford able to get the fights but Loma can't?

I have a hard time believing anybody would pass on the opportunity to fight the guy rated#1 on the p4p list.

Lets call a spade a spade, if this was anybody else he'd be called a ducker for moving on without facing Berchelt.

It happened to Crawford when he didn't fight Lipinets.

There's no need to move out of 130 when he has Berchelt and Easter in front of him.

He should stay at Super Featherweight for now. I want to see the Berchelt and especially the Gervonta match.:D

Loma vs Linares is very interesting. Linares has a long range and is a terrific boxer. Styles makes fights, Linares I feel is more susceptible to pressure fighters or big punchers rather than pure boxers.

I'm sure Loma's skill will overcome Linares flash and range though.

Loma moving up to 135 will be his limit. His power will be less effective. He's short and has short arms. I dont see him performing well at 140. Too bad he cant get good fights at 130.

Loma vs Beltran doesnt really excite me other than to see how Loma does at the weight against the bigger Beltran. But Beltran is shot and done and I believe he won his last fight via gift

Like waiting several years till Berchelt's "hand is healed" and Davis's "ready enough"? :) Lomachenko will be 30 this year...

By the way, I believe Loma will be able to move down to 130 quite easily, if one of those "top 130 fighters" talks too much. :) And Tank will be too fat for the super feather-weight as well, most probably. :D

Personally I'm dissapoined that Loma will have only two fights this year and not three as I expected...

Talking about the Mikey Garcia fight, Lomachenko (again in the latest video interview) said that from the start Garcia's camp had stated it quite clear that they want a lot of money for this bout.
He didn't say that Mikey had priced himself out, no (I understand that it's a lot but quite doable), it's just that that fight is not easy to make (to satisfy Garcia's financial demand).
So, realistically this fight is possible only as a PPV.

It's a TV date, Bro. They decide them months in advance.

It's obvious he's ducking Berchelt that's why he's moving up, He knows Berchlet style will give him hell

I know, but that doesn’t mean they have to fight on that date if their original opponent couldn’t fight. Mikey and Sergei is also a TV date, they pushed that back.

I get that...but unifying and having singularity in a division as the only champion is a great accomplishment even if the other champions aren’t viewed as a real threat. Loma just doesn’t have the luxury of waiting on guys to be ready when he’s looking to stay busy so he has to move up.
