I just watched it again, loma is constantly moving... in & out of range, shifting, using angles, searching for openings, fainting, beautiful upper body movement.... there is so much going on, it bamboozles his opponent! He steps it up as the rounds progress too, u see him going through the gears! You can't work it out, it's too unpredictable, he has so many facets to his game all operating totally in sync with each other! It must be a nightmare!

His calmness is ridiculous. It’s like he’s on gear 2 and has 0 worry which is why he can pull off those moves as if he was on a light sparring session with a newbie

What else could have Loma done? Rigo absolutely refused to engage all night. How many fighters can outclass Rigo? How many fighters can reduce Rigo to landing about 3 punches per round? How is that not impressive against a masterful boxer like Rigo?

    Totally agree,he’s something else.
Just a thought on the No Mas situation, could it be that it’s how Lomos Opponents keep getting clocked from unexpected places that’s something do with it,we all know it’s the punch that you don’t see coming is the one that knocks you out but all things being equal you can go a full twelve rounds and not have one single punch that wasn’t seen or landed.

With Lomo I’ve seen how his opponents react when he’s there one second and gone the next only he’s at their side or behind them ready to throw the unseen punch, now that’s gotta be very disconcerting even against someone with limited power.

Imagine someone like Rigo a gold medalist with hundreds of fights against big n small guys, south paws and every kind of style and yet here’s this hi tech kid doing something different to everyone and damn it he even trains his IQ and always seems to be ten moves ahead, for someone like Rigo who was confident his own skill would prevail suddenly found out he was out of his depth and that’s not a slight on Rigo it’s just how things invariably play out when Lomos about so this No Mas thing could be more than meets the eye cause how can one defend against the unseen punch if he don’t know where he is?

What else could Loma have done? What would be more impressive?

I didnt really give it the credit it probably deserved the night of the fight. Watched a few highlights today and Lomas skills in there were indeed next level stuff. Just the little things he did.... its a bit cliche but honestly, it really was a form of art.

I would have to completely disagree. Rigo was not a sitting duck unlike Spinks plus Rigo is an excellent counter puncher. Nobody is going to straight blitz Rigo without getting KO'd themselves. Don't be silly.

Yeah, Loma might just very well be the next evolution in boxing! Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Sugar Ray, Ali and now Loma. The man is breathing some rarified air if he is what many believe him to be. Damn good fighter!
