Glad to see you concede the fact that you can't prove any of your notions and that you accept your statements are opinions holding no more worth than the opinions of others.

i agree about these emotional fanboys, i had a fun time throwing spitballs at them last night, but you can only discuss those things that you find particularly discussion worthy for so long before it gets repetitive and boring. every single facet of the boxing world is going to get dissected here, because weve already discussed the important ones ad nauseam.

Now say those same names and then say in under 13 fights and several divisions. Do you how instantaneously more impressive that is? If you're an honest individual.

He went the easiest route possible to discredit Loma.
The same thing can be done with absolutely anyone in boxing.

Please people use your brains and common sense for once, Loma was injured vs Linares, injured his shoulder 2nd round and then he returned from rehab of the given injury too soon vs Pedraza, and was pretty much unable to throw hooks, uppercut with the injured arm and you could see he was gunshy because of that. I’ll judge whether he is sliding in his next fight when he is recovered fully

I’m not underrating loma by any means. He’s a top 5 pound for pound probably.
Mikey garcia at 135, Taylor and prograis at 140 would all be favored over loma. Pac at 137.5 to whatever would be a clear favor over loma.
Loma has his hands full with this new wave of fighters, lopez, Davis, Haney, Stevenson.

Lomachenkos face was marked up against Koasicha. It has literally no bearing on how the fight went.

Shout out to Malignaggi who completely butchered Senchenko's face.
    Some guys bruise really easy.

Wasn't Loma cut in his pro debut? And Marriaga bruised him as well. Davis even used to showcase it as a fact that Loma wasn't that good.

of course it has bearing, it shows us where he sustained damage. it might have no bearing on how the scoring or outcome went, but it certainly has bearing on how the fight went. if it had gone different, he might come out as clean as pedraza. quit with the having to shield loma from any criticism, its what so many find annoying. he got hit, so what, no need try and spin it into a positive.

He had 400 AM fights, as well as 6 WSB bouts under pro rules, then turned pro at 26 (correct me if I'm wrong on this one). During which time he spent 100's of hours sparring and training in the gym. The impressive part is he translated his skills to the pro ranks which not every highly touted amateur managed to pull off. He also went for a full 12 rounder in his second pro bout after spending most of his career doing 4 rounders, and fought very strong opposition for how early he was into his pro career.. They are impressive indeed, however context plays a huge role in these statements which most of you are leaving out.

The reason there are so many people criticizing Loma is because of comments and statements like the one you just used, where is the context?

Here are some examples and why they bother other fanbases:
Oh who did <insert name of ATG from previous generation> fight in their second pro bout. Are you seriously comparing an 18 year old who has faced far less opponents, far less time perfecting their punches, timing, speed and footwork? There is a reason why throughout history we only have a handful of champions that managed to become a champion in their 1st or 2nd year as a pro. Guys like El Radar Benitez are a rare breed. Also ask yourself this question, who wins between an 18 year old Loma vs the 26 year old Loma just before he turned pro?

Loma beats <insert name of ATG from previous generation> with ease. Once again his fanbase and the media are setting the bar way too high. This kind of statement also indirectly demeans other great boxers who also have passionate fanbases. The opposing fanbase in turn is expecting Loma to prove these statements to be true. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however don't expect us to see things the same way as you guys, because no one on Loma's resume can compare to these dudes. Just like Loma is on another level to all the guys on his resume, so are these guys.

Loma is the best boxer of all time. Incorrect. Loma is the best amateur of all time, he has some very good wins in the pro ranks and looks impressive. He is also getting in with mostly good opposition and still looking for bigger challenges, so good on him. But in no way do the names on his resume put him above other ATG's in the pro's who paved their careers over many years, some of who also had the benefit of fighting during a period where they were surrounded by extremely strong opposition.

Each action will cause a reaction. If one side overreacts/over-hypes, then expect the opposing side to do the same, it's that simple. It's also all about the context which people continue to ignore when talking about Loma's accomplishments.

I'm a huge Saunders fanboy, you know what I'm going to do to show my appreciation for him? Make a thread foretelling his doom, and run from thread to thread bashing the hell out of him, on a day-to-day basis. That's the ticket! That'll show everybody how devout a fan I am.

Grazing shots tend to cut easier than flush shots. Cuts don't show where a fighter was hit and if you think it does then you're only deluding yourself. Glove lacing, tape, headbutts, thumbs. They cause more cosmetic damage than flush shots. Time to stop getting triggered by Lomachenko. You need to take a break from posting.

kid, dont even start to pretend youre gonna school me about boxing, youre ill equipped for the task. now youre trying to sell me on the idea that lomas bruises, mice, hematoma are caused by everything except punches, cause if it was caused by punches, there would be no need for you to come in here and lawyer for loma.

Fans of tiny little 5'7 lightning fast southpaws with blistering combinations astonishing footwork that's moved up several divisions after suffering an early loss and struggle here and there with skilled boxer punchers and brilliant counter-punchers, who managed to fight as high as 147, and defied the odds there by beating many of the divisions best fighters. Should be the biggest believers in a guy like Lomachenko moving up 140 & 147.:nusenuse:
