Reflexes and reaction is down to repetition in training not athleticism.

Gary Russel jr was flashy, srl, floyd, meldrick taylor, Ali etc these guys are flashy. Tyson, pac, rjj are explosive.

Lomachenko looks like neo in there because it seems like he has the sharingan (lol if you get the reference). To me his athletic composition reminds me more of a young Barrera or Duran, they're fast, hit hard, skilful etc but they're not athletic gods. Case in point compare Duran to srl, srl was clearly the more athletically gifted fighter.

stepping to the right and keeping your right foot on the outside of your opponent is not boxing fundamentals for southpaws :confundio1::confundio1:
the bob and weave is not fundamentals:confundio1::confundio1::confundio1:

Lomachenko is a master boxer with grear fundamentals but I do also agree with what I think you're trying to say.
The sad part of all of this is that especially because he's from a lower weight class, he has around 3 years left of prime and he'll probably spend a proportion of that at 135 where he frankly will not be as good (weight classes matter even if someone is prime, especially if they're in the final weight class for effectiveness and yet are basically too small for that weight class). So a combination of both elements will take him down two notches from his prime.

Answer me this... if Lomachenko fought more stationary and relied less on his blazing footspeed and constantly turning of opponents, is he the same Lomachenko? And while you're at it, name me a fighter other than Lomachenko or Pacquiao that forces their opponents to constantly reposition their bodies a full 180 degrees after an exchange.

of course he would not be the same lol that applies to any fighter who lose his footwork ...still would have very good head movement and great combnation. he would still contrĂ´le the outside with his right foot most of the time

its not because most fighters dont do it thats its not a fundamentals...the most basic tactic when fighting an opponent in a mirror stance is to spam the side step to the oustide while throwing straights.lomachenko is just the best ever at this
