Ok, I can roll with that. He's a frustrating fighter to be a fan of. He has all the physical ability in the world and a sharp mind, it just seems like he doesn't want it enough. It's rare to find guys as athletically gifted as he is, if not impossible. Guys like that usually aren't warriors on the inside because they never had to be. Coming out of the AM's, he was a can't miss prospect, and just hasn't lived up to it yet. I hope he does.

 

I thought he was a little off that night, but he clearly had trouble with Lomachenko's movement. He was game though, and he's probably the toughest opponent out there for Lomachenko at this point, under 135, that's why I'd like to see a rematch.

 

Absolutely. I don't think anyone besides Russell actually has the talent and ability to upset Loma, he's actually probably one of the only guys Loma has faced who is a better athlete than him or on his level at least.

 

He has faster hands and crisper power, but slower feet, shorter height, and it looked like shorter arms.

Please watch the fight again because it sounds like you’re in serious denial. Rigo not punching? He was trying his best to land his trademark counters and lefts but Loma was constantly moving, throwing combos while also “slipping, bobbing and weaving, and parrying” punches that Rigo was attempting to throw. Shows your ignorance.

 

It was a very good and impressive win no doubt but it wasn't even the best win of 2017 let alone the modern era.
