No significant punches landed by either the whole fight. Rigo was obviously the more skilled fighter, especially bobbing, weaving, slipping and making Lomo miss. But you have to throw punches to win. Rigo was reluctant to engage. Why he quit is a mystery -- broken hand. Not a great win. Disappointed.

Loma is miles ahead of Rigo in terms of skills and it showed. He out punched and out slicked him. And obviously he landed some significant, eye catching shots. Not super damaging but they were meaningful to the point of making the guy quit.

Great win for Loma but not the best win, let alone this year. This years best win belongs to Rungvisai over Gonzalez.

Even Tim Bradley on the ESPN commentary was saying Rigo looked in total control at the early stages of round two. By the end of three Bradley is saying it's only a matter of time before Loma stops him.

It went from hope to reality sinking in real quick.

Cotto blew out his biceps in the 5th round, it tore completely off the tendon and rolled up his arm you could clearly see the damage.
Of course if you even had a biceps or trained a day in your life you would have considered this.

Hahahaha! :D THEY are actually still saying that! Holy ****! It reminds me of Chris Byrd’s mom in his corner of the 2nd fight against Wladimir saying “He Caint touch you Chris!!” after Byrd was already getting his brains 1-2ed out. ****ing idiots. Lol

Out of all possible dumb comments this one wins Oscar. :)

Actually this is what makes Loma special — how he is able to box so well with such short hands.

Me too even Lomo doesn't rank it as one of best wins on account of their size, turns out it was just Rigo cashing out really.
Had they been the same size and Rigo ten years younger Lomo still wins on account of him being so prolific and Rigo so frugal with his punches.

Rungvasai defo had the better win over two amazing fights, that man is in many pound for pound lists on account of that.
Cotto fought with a torn bicep to the end.
