Full credit to Loma for having the nerve, and if he had won in style it would have been brilliant. But the way it turned out is going to have the guys at Top Rank thinking "maybe we don't try it that way again".

Let's see Lomo v Donaire. Which one is more hype?

Knowing Top Rank, I'd be surprised if they weren't thinking that.

But, if another hot prospect comes along and demands a title shot within X fights or they're going in a different direction, I still think that's a gamble they'll make....if, for no other reason, than to keep that fighter out of everyone else's hands.

NOT trying to make any excuses for him, but I wonder if all the **** going on in Ukraine had an effect on him and his training. I'm sure he has plenty of family stuck in the middle of it. Either way, he still has a bright future and will adjust to the pros.

So the war in the Ukraine made him forget how to use a jab?

Lomachenko is not hype, it was a split decision and after all the low blows allowed by Laurence Cole I really don't know how he almost stopped Salido in the 12 round. He has the stamina, great chin, very strong body, took low blows on his legs, balls, hips, etc. the entire fight and Cole allowed it. He will win a title, no doubt about it................

Loma looked scared for most of the night, going backwards, throwing too few punches, clinching excessively. etc, if he had fought like he did in the last 3 rounds for the entire night he would have stopped Salido.

Props to a guy who intentionally missed weight to have a huge weight advantage? A guy who consistently threw low blows all night and actually used no skills what so ever to win a boxing fight?

Without that useless ref and the cheating he carried out from before the fight until the final bell would Salido have been anywhere close to winning this fight

    Completely disgusted

Think u should watch street fighting m8
