Its just a question so don't get all but hurt over it . you think he'll ever move up to that weight by 2023? Fight guys like spence ,crawford ,Thurman
No chance, for me 135 is as high as he should go to be honest, I even think 140 would be a step too far unless it's against some p4p mega fight that the fans are clamoring to see.
Not 2023! He's 29 right now. He'll be 36 by that time. Reflexes will have slowed, stamina may not be as good. I think 140 is the max weight that he will be able to get guys respect with his power. Big guys like Spence and Thurman won't be fazed by his power. They may not be able to catch him as well. After last night, I can't doubt too much Loma can do inside the ring! I find smoking the crow is the best way to eat it and adding blueberries to the humble pie takes that bitter taste away! LOL
I think some people overestimate how big Loma is at times, I mean Rigo is a tiny dude, and whilst Loma was obviously bigger, I actually was quite surprised the size difference wasn't more to tell the truth. Also he comes to the ring at what, ~138lbs? So even at 140 he'd be giving up 10lb+ advantage on average. 147 is not feasible at all. And even though people keep saying how he should fight Crawford at some point, I honestly disagree, it's asking too much. I think the size difference between Crawford-Loma is alot bigger than between Rigo-Loma and people were already whinging about the latter.
Seriously what the hell is wrong with you guys and getting emotional about weight classes. You guys sound like emotional b###### when someone talks about a fighter fighting at a higher weight class. So.what if he goes and gets ktfo quit being all emotional about it. Same idiots are the ones who see one fighter get ktfo one the time then they get all sad "he needs to retire" like dam stfu already.. This is boxing. People move up in weight people move down in weight . people get ktfo. Its the sport quit an emotional girl on your period about it
Also I'm curious about this Loma height statistic, I remember it being 5.6 at first, then 5.6½ now it's 5.7
