In 10 years when you look up "Vasyl Lomachenko" on boxrec, his final career record will be 22-4 (16).

    Write it down.

Bitter about what? He's going to go 11-3 (7) for the rest of his career. That's not bad.

Well, he's 30 years old, turns 31 in Feb. He did just have a big injury and surgery. Foot speed, reflexes, and pulling the trigger all go first so that doesn't exactly bode well for him a few years down the line. He seems willing and wanting to fight great opposition. Impossible to say but I'll just guess he loses two fights. If he wins 2 fights a year until he's 37-ish, that puts him at 25-3. Sure, I'll go 25-3 knowing there's a good chance I look dumb either way.

    46-0 .oh wait.

No telling. He might retire when he starts to slip. I just hope he doesn't pull a Roy Jones and keeps fighting past his prime.

Depends on the nature of those losses. Two close decision losses at a higher weight class like welter, or followed by a final loss after attempting a comeback following, say, a two year retirement can be easily overlooked.

I mean, Whitaker wound up with 4 losses, but two of those decisions were disputed (highly disputed in the case of Ramirez 1). If Loma ends up with a similar number of losses under similar circumstances, he's doing all right, methinks.

Well he did have 40 wins.

And fought four hall of famers.
