Lomas most likely next opponent?

Loma and Bob should target Berchelt asap. Berchelt fought in July so if he's not offered the fight he'll probably look elsewhere. Bob talks about keeping his guys active and exposed, just make it for March. Linares and Mikey are tied up, so of course don't wait for those fights. GB has a lot of contenders at 130, Oscar should have to be willing to play the B side for Bob on ESPN. If he can't get Berchelt just go down the list of top 130 lbers: Machado, Vargas, then if GB aren't willing Roman and Ogawa should be even easier to make.

 

It won't be Machado for sure. His camp says he is "not ready". Floyd wants Loma to fight Mikey and Crawford so he can take the distraction away from Davis. Berchlet might want to but not his promoter. Mikey has a fight in Feb. Linares maybe if he is available? Loma might just end up fighting some bum because no one wants to fight him. I honestly see Loma moving up once again because of other refusal to fight

 

Linares might work for April, if he's fine with a pretty quick turnaround after his next fight on the 27th of Jan. Loma shouldn't be inactive longer than thatt to make a Linares fight though. If Davis or the GB guys we've mentioned won't work, Ogawa and another title sounds perfect.
