He moves too much and don't throw enough. Worst, he isn't a good counter puncher.

He's a good amateur, but he's not going to be a great pro.

Even still. When you compare guys like Garcia to Lomachenko, you see the difference in class.

Maybe Lomachenko will become a great fighter, but he's certainly not there yet. He needs more experience and he need to improve his offense considerably.

Lomachenko is faster than Garcia, he just needs a pro trainer. He can punch also, but who can take that many low blows and then come back and almost knock Salido out? He should have known what to do, but he also had some bad advice. He had to fight the referee and Salido, not to mention the weight problem. Lomachenko will become a world champion at pro no doubt about it.................

You can't really compare Loma an eight pro fight fighter to Garcia the 34-0 pro fighter.

A better comparison would be to look at Garcia when he was 8-0 against Loma now.

This I said after his first fight that he needed an American trainer. He is very good with the right training, but he is not Roy Jones good.

I sort of thought his defense lacked more than his offense. His poor offense was mostly a result of not throwing enough when openings were there. Obviously, there's a reason why he didn't...

yep. lots to be desired on his offense and he clinch a lot.

not too good an idea against a guy that outweighs you by that much weight.

should have stayed outside and pot shot salido to death.

problem is, his punches arent straight, more like looping so he has to be at a certain distance closer than he needs to.

I noticed the the same problems with offense in the his first fight, not just in this one. He doesn't even use his jab often...which is a necessity in setting up a good offense.

He fights in spurts, using his speed and athleticism. He's not an effective counter-puncher from what I've seen so far. A new trainer...maybe Garcia or Roach can help him improve.

    He wont leave his dad.

But he should try to hook up with roach.

he needs to jab more and attack the body i would like to see him become a pressure fighter

you have to put in perspective. he is a southpaw fighting most of the time against ortho. jab isnt the best weapon against ortho.

if not roach, i would prefer shields or somebody else over garcia.

nonito's offense remains shitty and he's been garcia for a while now.
