    “He’s a big name up there, I’m ready for the challenge. I want to show everybody what I’m capable of doing. I just want to fight that guy bad.

    Ben Askren said it all, I think [Marquardt] is a cheater, but [against] me, he can take all the drugs he wants. I’m going to whoop his ass anyway.

    I don’t see him making [170]. … He’s a natural 185, He’s been fighting at 185. At one point he was number two in the world at 185.

    There’s no excuses anymore, Don’t say you’ve got a contract with the UFC because he doesn’t have it. He can take the fight and prove everybody wrong.

    Nobody respects me at the moment, That’s why I want to fight Nate Marquardt and show the people what I can do.

    Please, guys, help me out, Put the word out there and put the pressure on this guy to make the fight happen with me.”

    Like Lombard is clean..... Puhlease who's he trying to kid. Lombard talks to much. If he thinks he's that good get his ass in SF or the UFC and let's see him throw down with some real middleweights. Truth is he'd get his ass kicked. Both time's he appeared in PRIDE he lost against B+ competition.

    Remember when he called out Josh Barnett after their little spat? Personally i think the guy's a bit of an ass. His record flatters him as he's not really fought anyone of any note.And when he has his lost.

    Well this fight will happen at some point, and a reality check for Lombard is long over due.

    Why do you think Lombard is on steroids Scurlaruntings?

    Also, I hope that Lombard turns out to be good and proves himself if he fights Marquardt because I am a big fan. He's not done anything to prove that he will so far though, he hasn't quite fought complete bums but he's a long way from fighting truly legit competition.

    I don't but all things being equal and noting how prevalent these muscular physiques are in MMA i wouldn't put it past him. He's a short 5ft 8/9 and a stacked 185lbs. Weighing over 200lbs inbetween fights. You don't get that kind of size just by taking your vitamins.

    He says he doesn't even take vitamins :lol:

    Maybe he is maybe he isn't. I like him so I will go with innocent until proven guilty, its not like he pulled an Ubereem and gained like 40 pounds of muscle. Some guys are just naturally lucky, although that is unlikely but it is possible.

    Agreed. But my issue with Lombard is he talks too much and fights no one of any note.

    I think it's the same reason Ben Askren does it. There isn't really anyone in Bellator to fight and it's a small promotion so they need to do a lot of talking to get there names out there. I like that he is calling Marquardt out. Might be too big a jump, too soon though.

    I didn't think he talked a lot before did he?
