    It'll be an interesting fight to see where Lombard stands these days. If he wins he'll get a UFC contract out of it on his terms probably, if he loses then he hasn't come on as far as he might have done. Don't see the harm in challenging himself really, there aren't many legit challenges to him at MW outside Zuffa really.

    I think Nate is a bit past it, Lombard would not fair so bad I think, he has beaten a pretty good MW division in Bellator

    i think lombard will probably destroy nate if this ever happens, i think he is a much better fighter than the one that lost to mousasi.

    I think Lombard has all the talent in the world, don't get me wrong, but he's unproven. I like watching him fight but looking unbeatable against lesser competition gives the moderate "mtv MMA fan" false perception he's invincible. I don't hold the Mousasi loss against him because, well, he's Gegard Mousasi and unless you can dry hump him for 3-5 rounds your not having an easy night.
