He's a bully no doubt. But he's a bully with a ton of balls if he's willing to duke it out with Barnett

Don't see how he has any balls when a fight between him and Josh would NEVER be made unless Lombard put on another 30lbs and moved to heavy. Calling out Josh made him look like a bitter sore chump.

I remember it well as Lombard bitched and whined and then said he wanted to fight Josh legitimately. Anyway id love to see him in the UFC. And them humbly get sent back to the regional leagues. :yep

This. Guys a douche. Love to see Palhares take off a limb or Silva put a shin across his temple.

Good news, now if he can back up his attitude would be good, plenty would want to see him loose, some interesting fights and hopefully hes on a card sooner rather then later, hes 34 so hes got to get a move on, him vs bisping would be good or belfort for a big clash of power

Lombard fought Josh Barnett for 32 minutes while Paulson mopped the blood from the floor. He stood there for 32 mins vs. Barnett, he's a tough bully.

They'll probably put him in with someone like Tim Boestch or Palhares to test him. A first fight in the UFC is never easy - unless it's Crocop vs Eddie Sanchez. Still haven't figured that one out.

Brian Stann :deal It's a guaranteed slug fest, although not the wrestling challenge the UFC will probably want to give him.

If they want a pure grappler, Shields IMO. An accomplished middle, bar Ellenberger his durability is proven, but not too dangerous that UFC will wreck their investment...mind you, it didn't hurt Shogun, he still got up there.

My main gripe with that is that Lombard is nowhere near Rua's level as a top level draw or talent. Zuffa will want excitement from him I imagine. So make the Stann fight.

Even Phillipou would be a step up for Lombard though!!!
