👍 Was going to point out the same thing amateur weights are different and Golovkin fought at 165 lbs.

it should be painfully obvious to anyone with half of a clue that amateur and pro weights are different

but these lil g/European imbeciles have no clue about anything and thought they had a good point...lol

It's a lot easier to move up in weight at the lower weights because the size difference isn't that much. When you get to MW, SMW, and LHW it is a lot harder because of the size average. The difference between FW and SFW is 4 lbs. MW to SMW is double that.

What loma is doing is going beyond expectations.

For that he deserves tremendous praise. It isn't a stick to beat people with though. It's something to praise him for.

A boxer is expected to remain in their weight class as G is. Very few conquer multiple weights in a meaningful fashion.

He didn't say it was an exact mirror you illiterate $hit... He was adding perspective to their weight issue with these guys. You're such a f@ggy hater you can't even see logic when it's right in form of your face.

I have to admit I dig how Lomo is all for taking on all challenges in or around his division. Grant it, he's been handed opportunities that is not typical for a green blue chip prospect just turning pro but he's delivered. He's called out the best, faced top level competition and he's on 7 fights into his pro career. He's already moved up and tried fight one of the best in Walters which never materialized. He's taking a path not for the feint of heart. Lomo has faced some insane opposition all things considered. He's still got plenty to prove but no one can deny that his resume is already impressive having only 7 or 8 fights. GGG is still a great fighter in his own right, it's harder to get him fights due to his reputation.

    A very fair post.

Basically, like life in general, it's all down to circumstances and opportunity.

Anybody who praises Lomo and hates on GG is an absolute fool.

GGG is hated more because of not fighting Ward....but his patience and consistency should pay off in the long run.

Golovkin and Ward are baking this cake that will someday be ready to serve. They made a business move to dominate and unify the middleweight division and then be in a position to negotiate a fight with p4p champ, Andre Ward at super middleweight or light heavyweight.

GGG won't answer all of his critics anytime soon because there are no viable threats in his weight class. Golovkin is considered a great fighter, based more on his overall performances against opposition that is a level or two beneath him.

Those big fights with Ward or even Kovalev are what people expect from him which is a huge pressure because with all the hype, comes a significant amount of expectations. I believe we will see great things from GGG. Time will tell but he seems to be the real deal from my seat.
