Wilder has struggled against top 30 heavyweights in Molina, Duhapas and Spilka. Ggg obliterates top 10 mw. Wilder has been dropped and hurt as a pro and knocked out in amateur. GGG has never been stunned ever. It adds to his mystique.

Am's don't count for anything in the pro game thats just a development ground.

Wilder has never been dropped as a pro and has only been hurt about as badly as GGG was vs Stevens

Wilder and GGG have careers mirroring and GGG is an ATG and Wilder is a bum?

No wonder I find myself supporting the under dog. I thought most people do support the under dogs tbh?

Do you really need to ask?

GG was a fellow MW champ (2 belts) and he was Canelo's mandatory. GG also had the backing of the WBC.

What do you mean why should he fight GG at 160? He won the lineal belt, and then strung GG along saying he wanted a voluntary before negotiations. You want to tell me he's not big enough? They're similar in size and Canelo sometimes weighs in as LHW. It's a joke.

Yes, I'm well aware of GG's "anyone from 154-168" comments. But be realistic. Going to 154 for someone like Floyd, is not the same as being made to go down to 155 to defend 2 of your own titles for a shot at the lineal title in a huge unification. You don't defend titles, fight mandatories, and have unifications at a CW. It's a disgrace. His comments have to be put into context. You have to allow for circumstances. What if he moves to SMW? What if he won some belts there and then someone moved up from MW and demanded that they fought below the limit? Would you justify that by pointing out GG's earlier comments? It's ridiculous. Canelo and Oscar are a joke, and I don't know anyone who's made concessions like they wanted, under the same circumstances.

That comment is still fresh in everyones minds, obviously if he decided to move up the circumstances would change but they haven't they are still the same and Canelo is the next biggest name in the game after Floyd.

Canelo is supposedly bigger than GGG and he fought Floyd @ 152 @ a roughly 10-90 split @ 22yo and the GGG huggers are calling him a coward GTFOoH

Canelo won the belt @ 155, not 160 and thats where he was going to defend it, he was not bowing to no one and he said he is the man now. GGG didn't have to put his belts on the line, but he would have been a fraud champ if he lost any way.

I never said Canelo was bigger. I said he and GG were similar in size and he's weighed in as LHW before. It's unnatural for someone to rehydrate by almost 20 pounds. Canelo is not a small guy.

You say he was not bowing down to anyone? What sort of BS is that? He knew before he fought Cotto that GG was mandatory to the winner. He then beat Cotto and asked for a voluntary, again knowing that he had to fight GG afterwards. He also knew well in advance what the deadlines were. Following the rules of boxing is hardly bowing down to someone is it?

What do you mean GG didn't have to put his belts on the line? If Canelo had've gone through with the fight all of the belts would have been on the line.

GGG was a mandatory Canelo wasn't so GGG's belts did not have to be defended.

Canelo had a voluntary and your point being? Canelo said he wasn't going to fight at a disadvantage of size against GGG, he said it must be 155 and the fight was bigger than the title. He basically said f*** the belt, you think your a bad man, well man up and fight me at my best weight.

Cotto binned the belt as well, he got it beating a cripple any way.

Canelo on your resume is worth more than the 160 WBC title don't you think?

I'm saying that if Canelo would have gone through with his mandatory, all of the belts would have been on the line.

What do you mean what's my point? Canelo didn't relinquish the belt after Cotto, he pretended that he wanted to fight GG and paid him to step aside whilst he had a warm up against Khan. He strung everyone along. At first he said it had to be 155, which again was a joke, and then he said he'd fight at 160. Finally, he dropped the belt. And what's happened since? We've heard rumours of him fighting Liam Smith.

What real size disadvantage would he be at against GG anyway? It's all BS.

He said "man up and fight me at my best weight" ? Ha! What planet are you on mate? Canelo moved into GG's division and won the lineal belt. Yet GG had to man up and move down to fight him? WTF? Why didn't Canelo man up and fight GG in a huge unification where 3 belts were up for grabs?

It's ridiculous to criticise GG for that fight falling through. It's quite clear that Oscar and Canelo don't want it.

He beat Cotto a HOFer, a much bigger win than GGG has ever had (Cotto slaughterd one of GGG's best wins even better than GGG did).

The belt was secondary and Canelo has always stated he is most comfortable @ 155 and he is not a real 160lbser.

If its not fair to criticise GGG, than it most certainly is not fair to criticise Canelo. Look at his track record of taking on the biggest fights available something that even you can admit GGG doesn't have a 10th of Canelo's record.

Does anyone have the video of Loma dropping 3G in sparring? Heard he had G baby staggering all over the ring and 30 seconds of the first round, Sanchez promptly asked Loma to leave.

one looks like a boxer with elite skill, the other looks like he might trip over himself. Wilder looks like he will be exposed by other heavyweights and would be the underdog against atleast 3. Golovkin would be a favorite against every sww, mw, and smw in the world (assuming ward is done at smw). That's a pretty big difference between Ggg and Wilder.

Stevens never hurt golovkin. But I agree many people have overhyped the few times wilder has looked "hurt".

They say one more fight at 130 and then on to 135. I can guarentee that if succesful at 135 he wouldn't move to 140 and fight Crawford.

A fight with Crawford at 140? If Loma is capable of keeping his speed and adjust to the size for himself and of Crawford ,I would say it's a pick'em fight. Both these guys are smart fighters. Loma has the speed and defense and Crawford would have the timing and power. Plus he's pretty good defensively. Very good fight! I can't call a winner but, would love to see it happen!
