You could see the size difference tonight. The other guys at LW come in the ring at at high 140's or 150+. Lomo belongs at 126 or 130 max.

Yeah , he's chasing greatness but he had a clear size, height and reach disadvantage. He should fight once or twice more at lightweight then get the **** back down to super featherweight for the rest of his career and aim to become the greatest super feather ever.

I sort of agree but tough to argue with the results. Dropped and lost as many rounds as he won, sure, but KO'd the #1 Lightweight. He's doing what both fans and haters of fighters want them to do in an ideal world so I love that.

I agree but he can't become the greatest SFW if the other champs don't want to fight him and even if they do, beating them won't guarantee him being the greatest SFW ever.

I think Loma carries a lot of his weight in his legs. They look big compared to other LWs.

I noticed Lomachenko's legs were strong and his neck. I think he fights best at 130 lbs. or 126, so at 135 he is fighting out of his weight class, and should not go to 140, he is moving up way too fast. Still, he can keep the title at 135 for sure, pushing it there, but 140 is just way too much weight for him....................he won on his speed and surprising power, angles, footwork, if he could grow in height he could move on up, but he is too short for 135, much less 140.................

Loma seemed to enjoy the challenge of a big strong Lightweight, it was a tough close fight can see him hanging around a bit longer at this weight as he is really going to have to work for his rewards here and i think thats the kind of challenges he wants. I can see us all waiting on the Mikey Garcia fight for a while but that will be the big one at this weight if Garcia stays in it.
