Are people really acting like Hatton is picking on a smaller man? Pac comes into the ring on fight night at 148 pounds.... even if he fights at 135. Pac also admitted that he really struggled to make 135 pounds. Pac fighting at 140 or even 147 is exactly where he should be.

    Thursday.

Though I think it is a bit confused as people are working in three different timezones.

he may fight torres, holt, bradley after they have thier fights, and judah actually needs to win a couple of decent fights first before he even gets a mention. hatton just demolished the #2 in the division remember. do you not think a fight with jmm, pac, or diaz would not be a great fight?

yeah. marquez is willing to go up to 140 but it is to get another crack at pac. but i haven't heard jmm ever mention hatton as a possible opponent. in fact, jmm already mentioned fighting diaz and winning it so he can get another fight w/ pac.

i'm just wondering who jmm is more interested in fighting, pac or hatton? but both hatton and jmm are gbp fighters so this fight can really happen.

The way Pac negotiates reminds of the Brad Pitt character "mickey oneil" in the movie Snatch. He was always negotiating with his pikey crew whispering in his ear in front of the other guy. Hilarious. Coincidently Brad was a bad mofo just like Pac.

IMHO, I blame the ****ing media. This negociation was covered like I've never seen a negociation covered before. With up the the minutes uptades and more !!! ;) Seriously, WTF was that ? The fight is not happening. (as of now) There so much money in this, I don't think they will both pass on this. Why are people trying to find someone to blame when if there's blame to be put, it should be more on the kind of business boxing as become these days then anyone ?

Negotiations were complete. The date of the fight had been set and even the date of the publicity tours. Hatton gave way on several issues during negotiations (location, for instance).

Then, when it came to signing time, one party decided that they wanted to go back on what had been agreed. Even after further concessions that party still demands more.

It's actually spectacularly easy to apportion blame. When a fighters own promoter and trainer are stopping just short of calling him a stupid greedy **** in the media, that would be a fairly glaring sign.

The Pac-Diaz did 200,000 buys while JMM-Casamayor only did 100,000 buys and Casamayor is a much more recognized fighter than Diaz is. :deal

    Case closed.

Maybe we'll see the Juan Manuel Marquez third fight.
That would be exciting....which I think Marquez would take.
