i know that this would've been a great fight for us fans. but arum botched up the whole negotiation process by his actions here. there was no need for all these dealings to be made public. this whole process was done unprofessionally and that's maybe a reason why that this fight didn't happen.

Since JMM made like 30k fighting Chris John, I'm sure Hatton could give him a flat $1Million and make the fight and pocket the rest. It's not like JMM would turn Hatton down for that amount.

This is a good point, despite the short-sighted fans not seeing it.

Bad news to say the least.

Pac got a little too greedy in the negotiations.

Honestly i don't know what to believe with this fight, nothing is out of the question at the moment, its all over the shop. We can only hope it happens at some point in the near future. It would be a shame to see one of the best fights in boxing stopped only by a few % of the purse negotiations. Hopefully Pacman's warrior mentality wins out of his teams greed.

    All of the above.

Pac knew it would be a tough fight and his people started to remind him of it and if he were to lose a Mayweather fight could possibly never happen or never be what it could have. Pacman shouldn't have brought Hatton and us fans into this **** in the first place. Boxing is too much business and not enough risk and confidence is involved in fighters and matchmaking as in MMA. Oh well don't hate the player hate the game.

fine, arum could have made the mistake. but pac should have just sucked it up and took 52-48. it's not like he's not being paid to fight!!! he's still getting a tremendous amount of money, the most money he'll make this year unless pbf comes out of retirement.

i remember a few years back when we defenced pac from guys who were saying he should fight soto, guzman, valero etc. we all said pac should not fight them because they do not have big names, now pac has pwned all of us by refusing to fight the biggest name out there right now.

unless he fights the winner of jmm-diaz or pbf, i will not watch his next fight. i havent missed a pac fight since chockvivat

i think jmm will get a guaranteed purse of about $2M and that's it. no PPV share, no share in the gate receipts, etc. the split will actually be in the guaranteed purse only and that's probably 75/25.

no. jmm got around US$ 2-2.5M in his rematch w/ pac. hatton will probably give him less if this fight is in the UK where hatton is god and all-powerful according to hatton fans.

It is a very low percentage but would still top what he's made before. Kind of what Pac did with ODLH and hopefully the same results. A win over Hatton is too big to pass up.
