i'm still 100% condifent this goes through. this is the best fight foreither guy, and there's too much guaranteed money at stake.
i think you are getting off on the wrong foot here buddy. pac immediately offered a rematch but jmm was basically pricing himself out of the market by asking for 750k at the time when the first fight he was only offered what, 350k? and he was the one who picked his sorry little ass from the canvas 3 times. business is always concluded from a negotiable standpoint. you cannot make the same analogy here. pac, beat a highly favored dlh before this fight. hatton won over mallie but lost by ko to pbf. the pac-jmm fight while wrongly scored as a draw, 10-7 score remember, still pac sent jmm to the canvas 3 times. and enough of the schooling pac for 11 rounds. you simply cannot command the terms if you are not perceived to be the favored fighter. that is why odds are made. i am a huge Pac and EM fan but you can view all my pac related post and you will see a logical and honest assessment in my post. you will never see any delusional post coming from me. But the way people have been vilifying pac is a bit outrageous. just look at the gallery of usual suspects. arum, mayweather sr. hatton, gbp and then there is pac. can you really blame pac if he wants to have more control of his destiny instead of being arum or gbp little stooge?
a sign of an honest and inteligent man. thank you for being able see beyond the hate and mongering bro. we need more sense in here. sorely lacking the past few days.
actually, both pac and jmm got 600k for the first fight. for the immediate rematch, both were offered 750k but jmm demanded 1.5M so the fight didn't happen and pac ended up fighting morales instead.
You clearly dont understand the point I tried to make. The Pac-JMM negotiation I talk about had nothing to do with who deserved more or even the splitting % of the purse....... ......it had all to do about the point you made about Arum standing to make a killing without even getting in the ring...... ....and your figures are way off as well......when they first fought, both Pac and JMM each got 650K....... you would think that the fighters would stand to make a hell of alot more after the epic fight that it turned out to be.......but when an immediate rematch was proposed, both Pac and JMM were only offered 100k payhikes to 750k...... ......just because Pac was stupid enough not to figure out that Bob Arum stood to make more the he did......did it mean that JMM would follow suit and stupidly and idiotically accept what Pac was stupid to accept. The situation in that immediate proposed JMM-Pac rematch stood that Bob Arum was going to royally screw both fighters out of money that both of them sacrificed to earn for a rematch after the epic they put up. Thats the point here my friend, not who deserved more money. Pac did'nt know what the hell was going on as far as the financial part of the business.....all he was interested at the time was fighting......that however does not mean that JMM should have turned a blind eye to Arums shenanigans and accept what Arum offered just because Pac accepted it.
Damn it's a real shame this fight will not go through, had money down for tickets to what would have been a great fight. :-(
No he did'nt demand 1.5M.....he demanded more than a pittance 100K payhike and he demanded to be shown the figures and how Arum came to those figures that stood to be made for the entire purse of the fight. .....instead, Arum hung the phone up on Nacho Beristain and told him to **** off......something commonplace for a scoundrel when he is told to explain how he arrived at the figures that he did! Posters like you dont listen to rationale on this particular matter.....all you care about is that the fight did'nt get made right away, and you're nievely point to it being JMM was was afraid of Pac!atsch .....I think the facts of the matter were that you had your head so far up Pac's arse you did'nt know or care what the facts were.....only that the fight did'nt get made, and you were going to blame anybody but Pac!
