hi everyone, i'm a newbie here and i'm from the philippines.

i'd just like to ask something. i'm 18 years old and i've been boxing for fitness since april '07 to lose weight since at that time, i was 170 lbs (now i'm at 140 lbs) and developed the love for the sport. since that time, i've been going to the boxing gym at least once a week. but since october '07, i've found myself busy at the university and i couldn't find any time to go to the boxing gym anymore.

can you suggest any substitute while i cannot go in the boxing gym? and can i come back anytime in the boxing gym when i just liked to or should i first do some running for a week before coming back?

all of your reactions and suggestions will be truly welcome:D

yeah start off by jogging maybe 2miles ever other day just to get anaerobic again and then throw a little sprints in there... try if you can to get a heavy bag and do 4 3min rounds on that for about a week ever day... then as the weeks turn to months start training heavy.. you dont necsasrly neeed a boxing gym to train

i only agree with this if ur not going to compete, if ur going to compete, try not to train as much with out a coach there to pick up ur flaws before they become habits... but u can do all kinds of running, push-ups, pullups, situps, and anything like that. All for free
