Jack Dempsey sat on the title between facing many less than optimal opponents, openly skirting his biggest threat until said threat aged out and lost to someone else.

Joe Louis. Can’t fault the longevity but there’s got to be a reason why so many people even today associated the phrase bum of the month club with Louis?

Exceptional achievements, beating a Cuban hype job and dropping a guy who was dropped by crusierweights, a journeyman and an MMA fighter.

Now tell me who Donnie Nietes and Omar Narvaez beat. Or how about Virgil Hill and his career defining win over Tiozzo.

It is what it is, and that’s a higher quality reign than a lot of the others mentioned here.

He just couldnt get it done. There was alot of talent there. He chose commerce over substance.

The laughing emoji just shows how profoundly Wilder affected you.

Your woeful effort at talking him up was expressly funny. Ortiz' quality win list is thinner than your local crack hoe and your shucking and jiving trying to big up Wilder's fights with Fury is as disingenuous as the forum has come to expect.
