I got pretty long legs for a guy, as long as a guy who is around 15cm (5 inch) taller than me...
What is the advantage of having long legs compared to a long torso in boxing?

Besides the obvious of having less body to hit, not sure if there is an advantage unless the longer legs result in being much taller than your opponent and having some reach advantage.

Look at Tommy Hearns. I thought he had pretty long legs for a welterweight, but not so long as to be too out of proportion to his body.

The only real disadvantage I see with my long legs is that my shirts always look too big.
But that's not boxing related. :D

I think Tommy's shorts were just really high.
