Khosai Galaxy..'80 to '90 10 years but then again...his record is a fallacy since he only fought in Thailand
7 and a half years of ruling the division with 20 defences.. Larry Holmes didn't do that bad.........
Yes that was about to be my next mention......... Joe was the ultimate.. through the war years.......
I was going to say Finito as well (I have avatars turned off, so I couldn't see who, and then I realized who it was). From the Guardia fight to the Alvarez fight (9 title defenses in 3+ years) he didn't lose a single round, and he didn't even come close to losing between 1990 and 1998.
Excellent choice.:good Finito Lopez did look unbeatable at times...very underrated boxer. Another of my picks would be RJJ he was simply untouchable in his prime.
Billy Conn came pretty close to beating him in 1941. Farr extended him to a lesser extant, and so did Arturo Godoy in the first fight. We're talking about fighters who barely lost a round, let alone a fight. Louis was dominant, but not quite like that.

He was born and raised in the town of Bogo, Cebu. He was much beloved in the Philippines as a sports and cultural icon, being the first Filipino international boxing champion since 1920s boxer Pancho Villa. Elorde was the WBC Junior lightweight (Super Featherweight) champion from March 20, 1960 until June 15, 1967 and WBA Super featherweight champion from February 16, 1963 to June 15, 1967 making him the longest reigning world junior lightweight champion ever (seven years and three months). He also outpointed all time great featherweight champion Sandy Saddler in 1955 in a non-title bout. In 1956 he was given a rematch with Saddler, this time with Saddler's featherweight title on the line, but Elorde suffered a cut eye and lost the fight on a 13th round TKO. Elorde also challenged lightweight Carlos Ortiz for his world title on two occasions. He was stopped both times by Ortiz in the fourteenth round. Elorde retired with a record of 87 wins (33 KOs), 27 losses and 2 draws and was named "the greatest world junior lightweight boxing champion in WBC history" in 1974. If this is not the LONGEST. Kindly indicate full details for everybody's info.
No its not the longest...But he was very underrated...In my eyes defeated the great Saddler twice...was way ahead on the 2nd fight...this is Saddler!.. I think hes top 50 ATG easy...but people forget this...and BTW Ortiz that was a guy with 20 pounds on him and he was well out of his prime
