when buffer is introducing someone he usually goes through the list of accomplishments " former lightweight world champion...... former welterweight world champion......." etc .. who has the longest intro that youve heard

How much of that is to hype up the fighter

Oscar De La Hoya when he fought Floyd. Oscar is a six division champ, and has won titles on multiple occasions at multiple weight classes. His intro was long. Here it is.

RJJ's was pretty long at some point, when he had like 6 belts at the same time.

Roy Jones' was the longest before the second Tarver fight, I think.

Something along the lines of the former middleweight, former super middleweight, former heavyweight, and reigning 3 time light heavyweight champion who is the current pound for pound best with his only loss by disqualification and avenged via a first round knockout in the rematch.

    Anyone else remember that?

Whatever you think of Michael Buffer, he is much better than the clown who was announcing on the Cotto/Gomez - Margarito/Cintron bill.

Americans should talk like Americans, rather than trying to sound like a Mexican - he sounded like an Indian after a few beers.

I vaguely remember Audley Harrison's debut and I'm sure they played the whole of redemption song as an introduction and then started another Marley tune before he even started walking towards the ring.

Slightly different from the question being asked but still a long introduction!

I suppose he had to make the most of the good times though
