Yeah, like there is any amount of money that would cause someone to lose a fight that, if they win, they could make millions upon millions of dollars. You don't throw title or title eliminator fights in modern boxing, especially HW boxing. There is no economic theory that explains it. Bye.

 

This idea that being languid or fluid beats technique, power, speed and skill is stupid.

The same comparison made here about stiffness and and fluidity could be made of Willie Monroe Jr and Gennady Golovkin - but it would be equally false.

 

Lot's of really stupid posts in this thread. How anyone who has watched even a snippet of boxing didn't see that Martin was a poor operator who don't even master the most basic of skills is beyond me.

I'm guessing most in this thread was blinded by nationalism.

Lol how did I miss this thread, loads of people here exposing either their lack of boxing knowledge or their bias against Joshua as they were wishing he loses than actually believing he would lose and making their pick based on that.

If you couldn't see the huge flaws in Martin you need to maybe pick another sport to be a fan of.

Joshua's solid fundamentals and technique shouldn't be confused for being stiff, he is a little robotic like Wlad is, he needs to work on his head and upper body movement to seem more languid and fluid.
