US. Trevor Bryan-one of the best up and coming US heavyweights but is extremely inactive. Why? He is signed to Don King. His contract runs out in early 2019. He has great technical skils and has fast hands but lacks power. LaRon Mitchell-was semi-good amateur and was loking promising in the first half of his career. But he is showing his age at 37. Jermaine Franklin-is one of the best prospects from the US right now. He uses shoulder roll and counters his opponents in fashion which remotely resembles Floyd Mayweather. The lack of power could be his downfall at the higher level. Darmani Rock-young,fast and powerfull heavyweight with doubts about his chin. Justin Jones-another undefeated US heavyweight. was set to face Kuzmin but for some reason didn't fight the Russian banger. Has power but has big holes in his defence. Mike Balogun-hard hitting but untested heavyweight. Was a quality American football linebacker. Has played for the Washington Redskins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and Virginia Destroyers. To be continued......
Adam Kownacki and Simon Kean are the best imo George Arias, Nicholas Mazurek, Trey Lippe Morrison, Mladen Miljas are decent.
Jermaine Franklin and Trey Morrison I think are pretty good, rather I think Franklin is a good prospect and Morrison is decent/OK, but compared to the rest of our "prospects" they're ATG's. Darmani Rock...... Just as gifted as Riddick Bowe - if not more, maybe even much more. He is EXTREMELY gifted and talented and has serious skills. He's also probably much more fragile mentally, emotionally, and physically than Bowe..... Kid got smoked in a round at the 2016 olympic qualifiers. I also don't think his heart is truly in it for greatness. I'm wrong a lot, but 100% I guarantee this kid is a "what if" case.
I can't believe this country is fielding such a pitiful group of HW "prospects. There's a kid from the Bronx that's pretty good to, Arias, I think George Arias. Doesn't have much pop though.
Andy Ruiz is much better than all those fighters...................he is fast, punches very hard and is finally getting in top shape!!! He will do well.......................he is only 6 feet 2 inches tall, but don't let that fool you..............
I compiled the list of decent prospects for the future, half of them won't achieve nothing but maybe we can get lucky with the other half of them.
Big Simon Kean might be the best of the bunch. The trouble is he's a little on the slow side. I'd like to see Trey Morrison get a title fight one day. All he needs to do is get ranked in the top 50, and maybe Wilder will pick him. Could you imagine if Morrison caps the glass jaw first?
Cuba Robert Alfonso-best up and comer from Cuba and the only one. Won the vacant USBA Southern Region Heavyweight Title in August, this year. This year marked slight step up in his opposition. He is managed and promoted by one of the Wilder's managers, Jay Deas. He has sparred with Wilder 3 or 4 times and was a in his training camp for two weeks every time. Holds win over Ortiz, almost a whitewash win. Has won Cuban Nationals at least 3 times. Holds wins over top amateurs at the time. Has great technical skills but let's see how his chin and weight comes off when he steps up...
