Dalton Smith was supposed to headline for the European Title against Jon Fernandez on this card but that’s taking place early next year in Sheffield now.

Cheavon Clarke having his 4th fight this year is great.

Not sure who will be the favourite but I reckon Maxi Hughes beats Gary Cully.

Beatriz Ferreira is one of the few female fighters who is entertaining to watch.

Disappointing to see no Andy Cruz on the card. Only 2 fights for him this year.

 

How come he’s still doing media then?

How come he’s worth billions and I, as a fan, is worth a pittance in comparison?

Eddie`s on a massive losing streak, none of his fighters are that world class.

 

Dmitry Bivol, Jesse Rodriguez, Shakur Stevenson, Jaron Ennis, Israil Madrimov and Jai Opetaia aren’t world-class?

Bivol looked crap v Beterbiev, Rodriguez is unproven at elite level, Shakur is boring, Ennis is decent but overrated, Madrimov is garbage and Jai didn`t look good in his last fight v a bum, he`s easy to counter, maybe I`m being harsh but Eddie is on a poor run.

 

Your initial claim was that Matchroom have 0 world-class fighters.

Bivol is the 2nd best light-heavyweight in the world and lost to Beterbiev in a close fight many had him winning - he is clearly world-class.

Jesse Rodriguez has beat Estrada, Rungvisai, Cuadras and Sunny Edwards - how is he unproven?

Shakur Stevenson is boring - so what? So was Mayweather at the end of his career.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Name a list of all the world-class fighters in the sport right now.

Also name a promotional company with 5 better fighters than the ones I mentioned. I don’t think there are many.

 

Nobody at light heavy, Beterbiev is overrated, he is a less skilled but bigger and more powerful version of Canelo who is more elite than him, Rodriguez is a poor division, Shakur is crap, but fast, P4P there are many fighters better than Shak, Tank would destroy Shak.

 

He doesn’t need to be doing cards like this because he’s milking the Saudis mammoths but he clearly loves boxing and he’s still giving lesser known and upcoming fighters a chance.
I worry about the day these cards stop being made.

Hes put on plenty of such shows in Monte Carlo, over the years. He rarely puts something big on there.
But not that Hearn is on the slide per say, but his roster is definitely running thin. He is struggling to put on good cards because he does too many events.

 

Opetaia literally obliterated a guy who had recently gone the full 12 with Joseph Parker. The performance was magnificent and it wasn’t a “bum” that he beat.

I don’t know what fight you were watching.
