Look How old Roy Jones Looks- he wants to fight david haye

I think Haye beats him...RJJ does not have enough game left to beat a fighter as big as Haye...even if he's a small or avg sized hw

 

This is a great fight. Haye is parading around with Roy's WBA belt he never lost it in the ring. I think Jones KO's Haye and we get a Jones vs Ruiz rematch in a PPV extravaganza. Haye needs to do the right thing and give Roy a shot.

 

Cmon, atrocious? We are just used to seeing Roys blistering handspeed. Hes still has at least average speed.

 

now that hes getting older i feel like he regrets not taking the biggest challenges at the time.

they say when your young you think of money, when your old you think of legacy.

 

The bottom line is, regardless how you Roy and his career, he is not deserving of a title shot right. He needs to beats somebody that is ranked high enough to make him eligible. If he can beat Michael Sprott or someone of that caliber, then maybe he will have a better argument. Till then, he doesnt have one.

 

It's sad what has become of Roy. I guess he wants to die in the ring.

 

He's in his 40s, so yeah hes officially old. But even at 40+ he's a better athlete than most 20 year olds, he's just not an elite athlete anymore.

 

He has no chance against Haye. He might win one more title and thats it, probably cruiserweight and thats if he chooses his fights wisely.

He used to be one of my fav fighters, but now not. He's been old.

 

Lets dig up Jack Dempsey's corpse.. with the tenacity he exhibited against Jess Willard, he should be able to dethrone Haye.

 

he looks his age so what most people do. he doesnt sound as bad as some people were making out sounds like he has all his faculties

Jones hasn't got the power to trouble Haye any more, and he hasn't got the speed to avoid Haye's shots. And, unlike Calzaghe who was happy to take Roy the distance, Haye actively enjoys demolishing old fighters.
