Look, I think it would be good for everyone if Fury retired, at least temporarily.

I believe Wilder 3 took whatever fight he had left. After he talked about being scared of getting brain damage and it’s been nothing but soft touches since.

Needs to retire properly this time. Let the division get back on track. He is an insult to the game.

What is Division back on track? Usyk getting beaten to a pulp by Joyce or chinned by Wilder in round 12 for the WBC belt?

Fury needs a BIG fight now after the soft touch that was Chisora 3, for the sake of getting public perception back on his side as well as his legacy. And that realistically that has to be either Joyce or Ruiz.

I still love Fury but he's no longer the gung-ho nothing-to-lose fighter that took on Wlad in Germany and Deontay in the US. Now that he's a massive draw, he's turned into the heavyweight Money May, optimising low-risk opponents for the biggest paydays possible.

If I was Arum/Warren, this is how I plan out the rest of his career:
    - Summer 2023, UK stadium defence vs Joyce or Ruiz (only realistic opponents that are viable from a commercial and legacy point of view)
    - Winter 2023, do my best to get the Saudis onboard to make the undisputed fight vs Usyk for legacy and mega oil money. If it's not in Saudi, the money isn't enough for either team to want to take the fight (and that's why this fight didn't happen in April - neither fighter is scared, it's always just about the money)
    - 2024, final UK stadium homecoming fight vs AJ for £££ to set up his family financially for the rest of his life, before riding off into the sunset.

If he fights on any longer, he'll lose motivation and get chinned by a lesser fighter he would have rag-dolled in his prime.

There may be a Usyk or Joshua rematch in there to bring in extra bucks but essentially that's how Fury's career plays out ideally in a world where everyone wins: the fans win, and Fury gets to line his pockets with sweet dollar dollar.

Fury needs to go. Retire and do the sport a favor. He's nothing but a coward for avoiding Usyk. Retire and let Uysk fight for all the belts as he should. Fury has ruined HW boxing fighting his cans.

Back on track means fights happening! Fighters taking on opponents they should be taking on. Win or lose, Usyk or no Usyk, Joe or no Joe. Not some fat waste of time who just plays the games.
