Look let's be realistic here. Wlad/Vitali/Lewis would dominate any era of HW boxing

Sure 49-0, but his resume is thin. And doesn't rank in the top 10 HW ATG.

He suffers the same fate as Ricardo Lopez with 51-0-1.

Sure he's undefeated but he's UNRANKED in the ATG list for having a paper thin resume.

I don't think 'dominates' is the right word, they would be Champions & Contenders no question about that.

But they would suffer defeats too, from the Bigger skillfull masters & punchers. Louis & Walcott could get to the Klits, Charles could box any of them, Marciano & Tyson could stop anyone most of the time, and now for the Big Boys, after all their NOT HW's are they, their Super Heavyweights!!!

    Ali
    Holmes
    Foreman

and over the 150 years of Boxing, throw in a couple dozen more that could pick up victories from them too.

And how exactly is it loaded? Walcott/Moore/Louis/Charles were all pretty much zombies when Marciano got to them.

who else could he have beaten at that time you moron

maybe wait another 8years to fight Liston? or 10years to fight Ali? Should hang around till the 80s to fight Holmes,Shavers etc?

But if they lose or have closely fought, competitive fights then they're not exactly dominating are they? :nut

You can tell me you're being "objective" all you want, but if you think that The Klits and Lewis would dominate an era with, say, Ali and Foreman, or a peak Tyson, Holmes or Holyfield in... then I honestly can't help you...

Wlad ****s Marciano up. He's not dynamic enough in his offence to get to Wlad, and as soon as he tries to get inside, Wlad would be all over him, leaning on him with his massive weight. That would take a lot out of The Rock.

    Those superheavyweights would dominate.

He's going to be leaning on a very small target. A target which won't go away. Constant pressure, Takes Wlad best shot..He's going to panic Wlad.

Marciano is more of an attrition fighter though, and I don't think that's going to work against a man who's faster, longer and has massive physical advantages. He's going to take A LOT of punishment trying to get into range, and as soon as he does Wlad will be all over him, which will drain The Rock's stamina significantly and severely hinder his chances of a late round surge as Wlad begins to tire (if he even gets that far into the fight).

Taking punishment is nothing new to Rocky and didn't hinder him. His power later rounds is the same as early rounds.

Don't forget Rocky whole style of fighting was to not let the opponent get the upper hand offensively.

Oh ye and he moves a lot.
I don't think he's faster then Marciano, not at all. Marciano has way faster feet.

It's like anything else. People always think the 'old days' were better. When it comes to Ali, he was a good 4 or 5 inches shorter than the Klitschkos, and Ali was an outfighter; people talk about his great victories over Foreman and Frazier, men who the same size or smaller, which allowed him to use his jab. I don't think he'd be able to jab Wladimir or Vitali to death like he did to almost everyone. Actually, from his size, he'd be more suited to the cruiserweight division. I don't think Vitali or Wlad would dominate Ali, I think it might even be a close fight, but to dismiss the brothers as **** and venerate Ali as untouchable and invulnerable is just fanboy bull**** ignorance.
