Look let's be realistic here. Wlad/Vitali/Lewis would dominate any era of HW boxing

The only one we can know for sure that would stand up against the greats of the past is Lewis since he's the only one that has beaten good opposition.

Wladimir would probably fail hard against Lewis opposition and the same with Vitali.

The only eras I can see Wladimir and Vitali become succesfull in is from the 1900's to 1960's. Other then that I belive the champions of the 70's, 80's and 90's would smash them.

Sence, being one example has Rocky ranked no.4 ATG and Lewis at no.5...You're an insult to people's intelligence here. Anybody else and id be worried, but since its you its perfectly understandable.

I'm not so sure dude, I think you're overrating Marciano and underrating Wlad a little. What he does might be ****ing boring, but it's very, very effective... especially against smaller fighters.

Marciano is an ATG though, no doubt.

Vitali is too injury prone and is also more prone to ducking than Wlad.

Wlad and Lewis would be at the very top anywhere, Vitali would be a little below.

In before Marciano/dempsey/louis beat fighter X who weighted 260 lbs so they will beat K bros and lennox.

Size alone doesn't win you fights. That's why guys like Primo Carnera never meant very much in boxing. There were a few of them throughout the past BUT... they were most often uncoordinated and poorly skilled. When a guy is approx 2m (6'5-6'7) tall, weighs about 250 lbs in his best shape AND he's coordinated like a middleweight, hits like a mule and is fast and skilled like Lewis, Wlad or Vitali, it means domination vs smaller opponents - that's the bottom line of this discussion to me.

IMO boxing not much different to other sports when it comes to general improvement with time. Ali would beat all the champions before him and a lot of it had to do with his size and coordination - unprecedented earlier. It's the same story with Lewis, Wlad and Vitali again.

I'll retract everything I said about him not being in top 10. 8 is where I have him

    1. Ali
    2. Louis
    3. Lewis
    4. Holmes
    5. Foreman
    6. Johnson
    7. Frazier
    8. Marciano
    9. Holyfield
    10. Tyson
    11. Wlad Klit (Very close to top 10, probably there on some peoples' lists already)

Still, he ain't beating a Klit/Lewis. Not even close. Bombed out quick.

Leaning forward and jabbing. It'll be very hard to do that against targets that move like a Dempsey.

    Lennox can do it all.
