Miranda himself looked pretty horrible after losing to Pavlik. I remember he made the mistake of repeatedly blowing his nose, which I think was broken, which caused crazy swelling around his eyes. His demeanor was as dejected as any fighter I've seen afterwards as well.

Hasim Rahman's head in the Holyfield fight.

 

Man his eye after the Jones fight was the worst I have ever seen.

 

Rahman's goiter from Holyfield's battering ram dome is the undisputed winner of all things grotesque ever witnessed in the squared circle.

Runner up:

George Foreman's entire face after going 10 rounds with Alex Stewart.

Ray Mercer's jaw after going 12 with Bert Cooper (Arthur Abraham's jaw against Edison Miranda was cringeworthy as well).

Arturo Gati's eyes from clean shots and headbutts by Joe Hutchinson.

Sebastian Lujan's ear was literally hanging by a tiny thread of tissue against Antonio Margarito.

Powel Walek's eye after facing Delvin Rodriguez.

Diego Corrales' mouthpiece broke and sliced through his upper lip, stopping his first bout with Joel Casamayor.

 

Man I remember the fight on the Haye-Usyk undercard, where Sam Hyde suffered one of the worst eye injuries I've ever seen. It blew up like a balloon costing him a fight he was winning. Terrible.

 

Vitali looked damn ordinary.

Alan Minter's head also swelled up like Rahman's during his bout with Sugar Ray Seales. And let's not forget Carmen Basilio's eye during the Robinson rematch.

Check out the picture here. Dave 'Boy' Green on the left and Jean Baptiste Piedvache on the right. Look at Piedvache's left eye. Is that a weird camera angle or is it an incredible swelling? It looks to me like a swelling the way his jaw tapers back to normal. Almost alien-like.
