Rudenko hasn’t beaten anyone unless you consider Mollo and Bergman to be anything other than journeymen. The times he’s stepped up he’s lost. So I don’t know what a top 20 rating would be based on other than “didn’t get knocked out against the better names on his record.” Kassi is a solid B but certainly no threat. Guinn is basically a professional sparring partner who makes a living by giving upper-level heavies rounds without ever threatening them in any way. Hughie hasn’t done anything to merit a rating (as you noted) and any rating (referring to the threat starter) that has him in the top 10, much less top 5, is a joke ... unless it’s a rating of UK fighters.
Rudenko hasn't gotten the step up fights needed to get a solid ranking among fans, but he's aquitted himself quite well vs the top fighters who he's been in with. Won 5 rds vs fury and Browne and 3 vs Povetkin. Fought near even with 2 top 10s and showed that he's a poor man's Povetkin in that fight. He just couldn't get the other B level types into a fight. Probably won't either. But like Timur Ibragimov and Fedosov, he gets rated by fans who can appreciate his quality. Guinn... yeah, far past it and just getting checks near the end. But in his prime he was a quality contender much like McCline Barrett and Arreola. Kassi is a tough nut. But I rate Rudenko as the better fighter.
Rudenko’s promoter could do worse than get a fight with Kassi ... would move one of the two up a notch.
Looking at Boxing News HW rankings 1. Anthony Joshua 2. Deontay Wilder 3. Kubrat Pulev 4. Joseph Parker 5. Hughie Fury 6. Carlos Takam 7. Dillian Whyte 8. Tony Bellew 9. Dominic Breazeale 10. Jarrell Miller You really have to give it to Joshua that in 21 fights he is WBA IBF WBO champ and in the Boxing News top 10, is #1 having beaten #s - 4, 6, 7 & 9 and had been in arrangements to face the # 3 only for them to have to withdraw. 21 fights with 4 of the other 9 top 10s in this rating and a win over a HW legend also
