Looking back, Ricky Hatton should have avoided Mr. Floyd Joy Sinclair at all costs

    ROFL.

Ricky didn't hurt him once in the fight and Floyd sports one of the best jaws in boxing.

Ricky would have been knocked out earlier. :deal

Ricky couldn't knock Floyd out if Floyd let him bomb on his chin 10 times in a row without throwing anything back. :deal

TBE needed 10 rds to figure out Hatton while the one dimensional midget needed only one round. :rofl

I had Hatton ahead against Floyd, till Floyd shoved him into the ring post.

It was a shutout by Floyd.

People say Hatton won the 5th round, I beg to differ.

    The judges had it 89-81, 89-81, 88-82. :hi::hi:

The real score was 90-80 Floyd Mayweather. :hi:

Hatton wasn't doing well at 147 and seemed to be on the decline (he arguable lost to Collazo). If anything, Hatton's management was smart to get the big money fights against Mayweather & Pacquiao while he still had the opportunity and was marketable enough to get paid really well.

Floyd holding, elbowing and then tripped and pushed Hatton into ring post.
    Hatton won by DQ.

Hatton won 3 rounds in the early-mid portion with effective grappling, essentially.

    Stop trolling.

I love how people point out Joe Cortez. Cortez let Hatton get away with having his arm wrapped AROUND Floyds' BACK any time they got close to each other in a completely and obviously against the rules manner of holding. Floyd didn't grab Hatton's arm, wing it around his back, and make Hatton hold on.

You're right. He should have avoided all fights he could possibly lose so he could keep his "0" since that is the most important thing in the sport. Then start calling himself TBE because of that "0"

Pacquiao smashed Hatton better. Floyd makes maulers look good for a few rounds because he runs first half of the fight. Pacquiao cranks up the power early on the fight and goes on destroy mode. Floyd goes on his fight then flight rinse and repeat. Hit and run etc.

floyd absolutely schooled hatton...bitchslapped him around the ring for a few rounds then knocked him tfo...it was easy work...and the thing was hatton was riding high at the time. wins over castillo, tszyu, collazzo, urango, maussa...had thousands of fans show up in america for the fight, only to get humiliated and destroyed by floyd. it was sweeeeet!

but you could tell after that he was never the same....laczano had him hurt and about to go. he fought real lackluster against paulie...by the time he fought pacman he was a shell of the guy who fought floyd.

He had to go for it. Hatton was in his prime and his best shot was then pull out the upset. He should have avoided Manny and taken a page from Floyd's book.

maybe iif he had asked manny to take an olympic style PED test, the hatton-pacman fight might never have happened.
